2 Because of that, it’s much more appropriate for us to listen carefully to the message so we don’t drift away. 2 Because if the message that was brought by the messengers is confirmed and so every transgression and act of disobedience received the appropriate penalty, 3 how will we escape punishment if we neglect such a great offer of salvation. This salvation was first heard when spoken about by the master and then others who heard confirmed it to us 4 and God testified it by means of sign and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the holy spirit whenever he wanted.
