This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

Song of praise

12:1 Song of praise

12Then on that day you’ll say,

“I’ll praise you, Yahweh, because although you were angry at me,

your anger subsided and you’ve comforted me.

2Yes, God is the one who saves me.

I will trust him and not be afraid

because my strength and the one I sing about is Yah—Yahweh,

and he’s rescued me from my enemies.[ref]

3Then you’ll cheerfully get water

from the springs of salvation.

4“Give thanks to Yahweh,” you’ll say at that time.

Ask him for help.

Tell all the people groups what he’s done.

Tell everyone how wonderful he is.

5Sing to Yahweh because he’s done amazing things.

Make sure everyone in the world knows about them.

6Yell and shout happily, you inhabitants of Tsiyyon (Zion),

because Yisrael’s holy one is powerful among you.”

12:2: Exo 15:2; Psa 118:14.
