LIBNI

1. Gershon’s son, the grandson of Levi, and Shimei’s brother (Ex 6:17; Nm 3:18; 1 Chr 6:17, 20 OET CH1 6:17 · OET CH1 6:20). He was the father of three sons and the founder of the Libnite family (Nm 3:21). Libni is alternately called Ladan in 1 Chronicles 23:7-9 and 26:21.
