8 Bring out the people with eyes who still seem blind,
≈ and those who have ears but still seem deaf.
9 All the nations have gathered together,
Which of them could have predicted this?
≈ They announce things that have happened in the past!
Let them appoint their own witnesses so they can be justified.
≈ Let them hear and then let them say that it’s true.
10 But Yahweh declares that you all are my witnesses
≈ and my servant who I’ve chosen
so that you all can know and believe me
≈ and understand that I am God.
There’s no other god that was formed before me,
^ and none will be format after me.
11 I (and no one else) am Yahweh.
≈ and other than me, there’s no one else who can save you.
12 I have declared that I would save and I have saved,
≈ and I have proclaimed that I have done it,
and you all are my witnesses that I am God.
That is Yahweh’s declaration.
13 From the first day, I am he,
and no one can oppose my power.
