This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.
125:0 Against wicked rulers
125 A song for walking uphill to Yerushalem.
125 Those who trust in Yahweh
are like Mt. Tsiyyon (Zion) which can’t be shaken—enduring forever.
2 Just like the mountains surround Yerushalem,
so too Yahweh surrounds his people, both now and forever.
3 Wicked rulers must not settle on the land alloted to the righteous,
otherwise those righteous people might end up doing something that they shouldn’t do.
4 Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good
and to those who strive to do what is right.
5 But as for those who choose to turn to crooked paths,
Yahweh will banish them along with those who do evil.
May peace be on Yisra’el.
