25:1 Bildad’s third response to Iyyov

25 Then Bildad (from Shuah) responded to Iyyov:

2 Dominion and fear belong to God.

He establishes peace in his high places.

3 Can his troops be counted?

Is there anyone who his light doesn’t shine on?

4 How can a person be innocent before God?

≈How could a human born from a women be pure?

5 Look, even the moon isn’t clear to us,

≈and the stars aren’t pure in our sight.

6 Indeed, a person’s just like an insect,

≈and human offspring are as insignificant as worms.
