Paul and Barnabas Return to Antioch in Syria

Paul and Barnabas Return to Antioch in Syria

21After preaching the gospel in that city and making many disciples, Paul and Barnabas returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and telling them that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God. 23And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, with prayer and fasting they entrusted them to the Lord in whom they had come to believe.

24After passing through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia, 25and when they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work they had now completed. 27After they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done through them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. 28And they stayed [fn]there with the disciples for some time.
