GHT ACTs Chapter 14

◄ ACTs 14 ► ║ ═ ©

14 Moreover, it-becomes in to{Iconium} according-to the same[neuter]; same[plural] to-come-into into the gathering[translit. "synagogue"] of{the Judeans} and to-speak the-same-ly such-as to-believe, both of{Judeans} and of{Greeks}, [a] vast multitude.
2 Moreover, the unpersuaded/stubborn/noncompliant Judeans rouse-upon and mistreat the lives of{the nations} against of{the brothers}.
3 So, on-one-hand, they-engage sufficient time, all-say-izing upon to{the Lord, the witnessing the word} of{the grace/favor} of{same}, to{giving} signs and miracles to-be-becoming through of{the hands} of{same}.
4 On-the-other-hand, the multitude of{the city} is-split, and, on-one-hand, the[plural] have-been-being together-with to{the Judeans}; on-the-other-hand, the[plural] together-with to{the sent-off[one]s}.
5 Moreover, as impetus/impulse/initiative becomes both of{the nations} and of{Judeans} together-with to{the chiefs} of{same} to-rampage and to-stone-cast same,
6 behold[ing]-together, they-flee-down/according-to into the cities of{the Lycaonia}, Lystra and Derbe, and the region-around,
7 and-there they-have-been-being good-message-izing,
8 and some man in to{Lystra-s} unenabled/unempowered[adjective] to{the feet}, has-been-being-seated, lame out of{[the] cavity-ia} of{[the] mother} of{same}, who not-yet-ever walks-around.
9 The-same hears of{the Paul speaking}, who, fixate[ing] to{same} and behold[ing] that he-is-having faith of{the} to-be-saved,
10 says to{the large sound}, "Stand-up upon the feet of{you} straight-up," and he-leaps and has-been-walking-around.
11 Moreover, the crowds, behold[ing] what Paul does, lift-upon the sound of{same}, Lycaonian-ly saying, "The gods likened to{men} descend toward us."
12 Besides, they-have-been-calling the Barnabas Zeus; moreover, the Paul, Hermes, upon-beheld[conjunction] same has-been-being the governing/guiding of{the word}.
13 Besides, the consecrated[i.e. priest] of{the Zeus, the being} before of{the city}, carry[ing] bulls and wreathe-effects upon the gateways together-with to{the crowds}, has-been-will-ing to-be-sacrificing.
14 Moreover, hear[ing], the sent-off[one]s, Barnabas and Paul, tear[ing]-through the outer-garments of{same}, rush-into into the crowd, crying-out
15 and saying, "Men, what[?] the-same you-are-doing[?] Also we are-being like-passioned to{you}, men good-message-izing you away-from of{the-same[plural], the[plural] vain} to-be-upon-turning upon [the] being-alive God, who makes the heaven and the earth and the seawater and all the in to{same},
16 who, in to{the having-been-past generations} allows all the nations to-be-being-gone to{the ways} of{same},
17 and-to-which he-does_not_let-off/away sameself without-witness, beneficial-working from-heaven to{you}, giving rains and fruit-carrying seasons, filling-in the hearts of{you} of{nourishment} and of{gladness},"
18 and, saying the-same, [they] hardly rest-down the crowds of{the} to-be_not_sacrificing to{same}.
19 Moreover, of{engaging same} and of{teaching}, Judeans from of{Antioch} and of{Iconium} come-upon and, of{dialoguing same} to{all-say-ia}, persuade-anew the crowds to-stand-off/away from of{same}, saying that they-are-saying nothing true; contrariwise, all are-falsifying/being-falsified, and, stone-ize[ing] the Paul, have-been-dragging outside of{the city}, deciding same to-have-died.
20 Moreover, of{the disciples circle[ing]} same, stand[ing]-up/anew, he-comes-into into the city, and to{the} upon-the-next-day he-comes-out together-with to{the Barnabas} into Derbe.
21 Both good-message-ize[ing] the city, the-there, and disciple[ing] sufficient[plural], they-return into the Lystra and into Iconium and into Antioch,
22 establishing-upon the lives of{the disciples} calling-aside to-be-remaining-in to{the faith} and that through of{many pressures/constrictions/oppressions} it-is-necessitating us to-come-into into the kingdom of{the God}.
23 Moreover, hand-select[ing] elders to{same} according-to out-calling [i.e. out-calling by out-calling], pray[ing] alongside of{fastings[noun]} they-place-such-as-to-be-placed-beside same to{the Lord} into whom they-had-believed,
24 and, come[ing]-through the Pisidia, they-come into the Pamphylia,
25 and, speak[ing] the word in to{Perga}, they-descend into Attalia,
26 and-from-there they-sail-off/away into Antioch, whence they-have-been-being having-been-given-aside/delivered to{the grace/favor} of{the God} into the work which they-fulfill.
27 Moreover, become[ing]-aside and gather[ing] the out-calling, they-message-anew as-much-as the God does alongside of{same} and that he-opens-up to{the nations} [a] door of{faith}.
28 Moreover, they-have-been-engaging not scant time together-with to{the disciples},
