14 And it _ became , in Ikonion with the same them to _ come_ in into the synagogue of _ the Youdaiōns , and to _ speak thus so _ that a _ great multitude of _ both _ Youdaiōns and Hellaʸns to _ believe .
2 But the Youdaiōns having _ disbelieved stirred _ up and mistreated the hearts of _ the pagans against the brothers .
3 Therefore on _ one_ hand they _ stayed much time , speaking _ boldly for the master , the testifying the message of _ the grace of _ him , to _ giving signs and wonders to _ be_ becoming through the hands of _ them .
4 On _ the_ other_ hand the multitude of _ the city was _ divided , and on _ one_ hand they were with the Youdaiōns , on _ the_ other_ hand they with the ambassadors .
5 And when an _ impulse both of _ the pagans and Youdaiōns with the rulers of _ them became , to _ mistreat and to _ throw_ stones at _ them , 6 having _ seen , they _ fled_ down to the cities of _ the _ Lukaonia , Lustra , and Derbaʸ , and the surrounding _ region , 7 and _ there they _ were good _ message_ preaching .
8 And a _ certain man , in Lustra powerless by _ the feet , who never walked was _ sitting lame from the _ womb of _ the _ mother of _ him .
9 This man was _ hearing of _ the _ Paulos speaking , who having _ looked_ intently at _ him and having _ seen that he _ is_ having faith which to _ be_ healed , 10 said with _ a _ loud voice :
Stand _ up straight on the feet of _ you .
And he _ sprang_ up and was _ walking .
11 And the crowds having _ seen what Paulos did , lifted _ up the voice of _ them In _ Lukaonian saying :
The gods having _ been_ likened to _ men , came _ down to us .
12 They _ were_ calling both the Barnabas :
Zeus , and the Paulos :
Hermas , since he was the leading of _ the matter .
13 And the the _ priest of _ the _ Zeus , which being before the city , having _ brought bulls and garlands to the gates , he _ was_ wanting to _ be_ sacrificing with the crowds .
14 But the ambassadors Barnabas and Paulos having _ heard , having _ torn the robes of _ themselves , they _ rushed_ out into the crowd , crying _ out 15 and saying :
Men , why are _ you_ all_ doing these ?
We also are humans like _ natured with _ you_ all , evangelizing you _ all to _ be_ turning_ back from these the useless to living god :
who made the heaven , and the earth , and the sea , and all the in them .
16 Who in the generations having _ gone_ by , allowed all the nations to _ be_ going to _ the ways of _ them .
17 And _ yet left himself not without _ witness , working _ good from _ heaven to _ you_ all giving rains and fruitful seasons , filling with _ food and the hearts of _ you_ all gladness .
18 And saying these , with _ difficulty they _ restrained the crowds which not to _ be_ sacrificing to _ them .
19 But Youdaiōns Came _ over from Antioⱪeia and Ikonion , and having _ persuaded the crowds , and having _ stoned the Paulos , they _ were_ dragging him outside the city , thinking him to _ have_ died .
20 But of _ the apprentices/followers having _ surrounded him , having _ stood_ up he _ came_ in into the city .
And on _ the day of _ next he _ came_ out with the Barnabas to Derbaʸ .
21 And having _ good_ message_ preached the that city , and having _ trained many , they _ returned to the Lustra , and to Ikonion , and to Antioⱪeia , 22 strengthening the souls of _ the apprentices/followers , exhorting them to _ be_ remaining_ in in _ the faith , and that it _ is_ fitting us to _ come_ in into the kingdom of _ the _ god through many tribulations .
23 And having _ chosen elders for _ them in assembly , having _ prayed with fastings , they _ entrusted them to _ the master on whom they _ had_ believed .
24 And having _ passed_ through the Pisidia , they _ came to the Pamfulia , 25 and having _ spoken the message in Pergaʸ , they _ came_ down to Attalia , 26 and _ from_ there they _ sailed_ away to Antioⱪeia , whence they _ were having _ been_ given_ over to _ the grace of _ the _ god , because/for the work that they _ fulfilled .
27 And having _ arrived and having _ gathered_ together the assembly , they _ were_ declaring as _ much_ as the god did with them , and that he _ opened_ up a _ door of _ faith to _ the pagans .
28 And they _ were_ staying no little time with the apprentices/followers .
