14 And it _became, in Ikonion with the same them to _come _in into the synagogue of _the Youdaiōns, and to _speak thus so _that a_great multitude of_ both _Youdaiōns and Hellaʸns to _believe.
2 But the Youdaiōns having _disbelieved stirred _up and mistreated the hearts of _the pagans against the brothers.
3 Therefore on _one _hand they _stayed much time, speaking _boldly for the master, the one testifying the message of _the grace of _him, to _giving signs and wonders to _be _becoming through the hands of _them.
4 On _the _other _hand the multitude of _the city was _divided, and on _one _hand they were with the Youdaiōns, on _the _other _hand they with the ambassadors.
5 And when an_impulse both of _the pagans and Youdaiōns with the rulers of _them became, to _mistreat and to _throw _stones at _them, 6 having _seen, they _fled _down to the cities of_ the _Lukaonia, Lustra, and Derbaʸ, and the surrounding _region, 7 and _there they _were good _message _preaching.
8 And a_certain man, in Lustra powerless by _the feet, who never walked was _sitting lame from the_womb of_the_mother of _him.
9 This man was _hearing of_ the _Paulos speaking, who having _looked _intently at _him and having _seen that he _is _having faith which to _be _healed, 10 said with_a_loud voice:
Stand _up straight on the feet of _you.
And he _sprang _up and was _walking.
11 And the crowds having _seen what Paulos did, lifted _up the voice of _them In _Lukaonian saying:
The gods having _been _likened to _men, came _down to us.
12 They _were _calling both the Barnabas:
Zeus, and the Paulos:
Hermas, since he was the one leading of _the matter.
13 And the the_priest of_ the _Zeus, which being before the city, having _brought bulls and garlands to the gates, he _was _wanting to _be _sacrificing with the crowds.
14 But the ambassadors Barnabas and Paulos having _heard, having _torn the robes of _themselves, they _rushed _out into the crowd, crying _out 15 and saying:
Men, why are _you _all _doing these things?
We also are humans like _natured with _you _all, evangelizing you _all to _be _turning _back from these the useless things to living god:
who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all the things in them.
16 Who in the generations having _gone _by, allowed all the nations to _be _going to _the ways of _them.
17 And _yet left himself not without _witness, working _good from _heaven to _you _all giving rains and fruitful seasons, filling with _food and the hearts of _you _all gladness.
18 And saying these things, with _difficulty they _restrained the crowds which not to _be _sacrificing to _them.
19 But Youdaiōns Came _over from Antioⱪeia and Ikonion, and having _persuaded the crowds, and having _stoned the Paulos, they _were _dragging him outside the city, thinking him to _have _died.
20 But of _the apprentices/followers having _surrounded him, having _stood _up he _came _in into the city.
And on _the day of _next he _came _out with the Barnabas to Derbaʸ.
21 And having _good _message _preached the that city, and having _trained many, they _returned to the Lustra, and to Ikonion, and to Antioⱪeia, 22 strengthening the souls of _the apprentices/followers, exhorting them to _be _remaining _in in _the faith, and that it _is _fitting us to _come _in into the kingdom of_ the _god through many tribulations.
23 And having _chosen elders for _them in assembly, having _prayed with fastings, they _entrusted them to _the master on whom they _had _believed.
24 And having _passed _through the Pisidia, they _came to the Pamfulia, 25 and having _spoken the message in Pergaʸ, they _came _down to Attalia, 26 and _from _there they _sailed _away to Antioⱪeia, whence they _were having _been _given _over to _the grace of_ the _god, because/for the work that they _fulfilled.
27 And having _arrived and having _gathered _together the assembly, they _were _declaring as _much _as the god did with them, and that he _opened _up a_door of _faith to _the pagans.
28 And they _were _staying no little time with the apprentices/followers.
