Measuring outside the temple

Eze 42:15–20

15The man completed measuring the temple interior and then took me out to the eastern gate and measured all the surrounding area there.16-19 16-19He measured each side of the wall with his measuring rod and it was 270m[fn] long on each of the eastern, northern, southern, and western side. 20So the four sides that were measured (and thus the wall around it) was 270m on each side, and the wall separated the sacred area from the public area.

42:16 Following the Septuagint here, which seems more accurate (unless he now has a shorter measuring rod).
