17 Show _sympathy to_him/it Oh _all around_his and_all/each/any/every [you _all _who]_know his/its_name say how it _is _broken a _staff of _strength a _staff of _splendor.
18 Come _down from_glory wwww[fn] in/on/at/with_parched _ground Oh _inhabitant[s] of _the _daughter of _Dibon DOM the _destroyer of _Mōʼāv he _will _come _up in/on/at/with_you he _will _ruin strongholds_your.
19 To [the]_road stand and_watch Oh _inhabitant[s] of _Aroer ask a _[man _who]_flees and_escaping say what has _it _happened.
20 It _has _been _put _to _shame Mōʼāv DOM it _has _been _shattered wail[fn] and_cry _out[fn] declare in/on/at/with_Arnon DOM_that it _has _been _devastated Mōʼāv.
