City or district mentioned in Judges 18:28 and 2 Samuel 10:6; probably the northernmost point reached by the 12 Israelite spies when they searched out the land of Canaan. It is probably identifiable with Rehob (Nm 13:21; 2 Sm 10:8). See Rehob (Place).
