17 And _ sent Mosheh DOM _ them to _ spy _ outof _ Kinaˊan/(Canaan)DOM the _ land_ ofand _ he/it _ saidto _ them go _ upthis in/on/at/with _ Negeⱱ and _ go _ upDOM the _ hill _ country18 And _ see DOM the _ earth/land what [is] _ itand _ DOM the _ people the _ live on/upon _ it(f) the _ strong [is] _ itwhether _ or_ weak the _ few [is] _ itor many .
19 And _ what the _ earth/land which it [is] _ dwellingin/on/at/with _ her whether _ good [is] _ itor bad and _ what the _ cities which it [is] _ dwellingin/on/at/with _ they the _ in/on/at/with _ camps or in/on/at/with _ fortifications .
20 And _ how the _ earth/land the _ fertile [is] _ itor lean whether _ are _ therein/on/at/with _ it wood or not and _ bold and _ bring _ backfrom _ the_ fruit the _ earth/land and _ the _ time [were _ the]_ days_ of[the] _ first-fruits_ ofgrapes .
21 And _ went _ upand _ spied _ outDOM the _ earth/land from _ wilderness _ ofTsiyyōn/(Zin) to Rə ḩoⱱ Lebo Ḩₐmāt .
22 And _ went _ upin/on/at/with _ Negeⱱ and _ came to Ḩeⱱrōn and _ there ʼAḩīman Shēshay and _ Talimay those _ born_ ofthe _ ˊĀnāq and _ Ḩeⱱrōn seven years it _ was_ builtto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeZoan Miʦrayim/(Egypt) .
23 And _ they _ cameto the _ wadi_ ofEshcol and _ cut _ downfrom _ there a _ vine_ branchand _ cluster _ ofgrapes one and _ carried _ it in/on/at/with _ pole in/on/at/with _ two and _ from the _ pomegranates and _ from the _ figs .
24 To _ the_ place (the) _ that someone _ calledthe _ wadi_ ofEshcol on the _ causes_ ofthe _ cluster which they _ cut_ downfrom _ there the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
25 And _ returned from _ spying _ outthe _ earth/land from _ the_ end/extremity forty day[s] .
26 And _ proceeded and _ they _ cameto Mosheh and _ to ʼAhₐron and _ near/to all _ ofthe _ congregation_ ofthe _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to the _ wilderness_ ofPāʼrān Qādēsh _ at and _ brought _ backDOM _ them word and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ congregation and _ showed _ them DOM the _ fruit_ ofthe _ earth/land .
27 And _ told to _ him/it and _ they _ saidwe _ wentinto the _ earth/land which sent _ us and _ also [is] _ flowing_ ofmilk and _ honey it and _ this fruit _ of_ its .
28 Nevertheless if/because [is] _ strongthe _ people the _ live on _ the_ earth and _ the _ cities [are] _ fortifiedlarge very and _ also those _ born_ ofthe _ ˊĀnāq we _ sawthere .
29 ˊAmālēq [is] _ dwellingin _ land the _ Negeⱱ and _ the _ Ḩittiy and _ the _ Yə ⱱūşī/(Yə ⱱūşī/(Jebusite)s) and _ the _ ʼAmorī [is] _ dwellingin/on/at/with _ hill _ countryand _ the _ Kə naˊₐnī [is] _ dwellingat the _ sea and _ along the _ side_ ofthe _ Yardēn/(Jordan) .
30 And _ Kālēⱱ/(Caleb) _ quieted DOM the _ people to Mosheh and _ he/it _ saidcertainly _ (go_ up)we _ will_ go_ upand _ take _ possession_ ofDOM _ her/it if/because certainly _ (prevail)we _ will_ prevailto/for _ her/it .
31 And _ the _ men who they _ had_ gone_ upwith _ him/it they _ saidnot we _ are_ ableto _ go _ upagainst the _ people if/because [is] _ strongit than _ we .
32 And _ brought (the) _ bad_ report_ ofthe _ earth/land which they _ had_ spied_ outDOM _ her/it to the _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ say the _ earth/land which we _ passedin/on/at/with _ her to _ explore DOM _ her/it [is] _ a_ land[which] _ devoursinhabitants _ of_ its it and _ all the _ people which we _ sawin/on/at/with _ midst _ of_ it [were] _ men_ ofstature(s) .
33 And _ there we _ sawDOM the _ nephilim [the] _ descendants_ ofˊĀnāq [were] _ fromthe _ Nefilim/Nephilim and _ were in/on/at/with _ sight _ of_ our _ ownlike _ grasshoppers and _ thus/so/as _ followswe _ werein/on/at/with _ eyes _ of_ them .
