9 And _ he/it _ sawYōʼāⱱ if/because _ thatit _ wasto _ him/it the _ facethe _ battle in _ front and _ in _ rear and _ chose from _ all the _ chosen_ [men]in/on/at/with [fn ] and _ arrayed to _ engage ʼArām .

15 And _ he/it _ sawʼArām if/because _ thatit _ had_ been_ defeatedto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ gathered together .
16 And _ sent Hₐdadˊezer and _ brought _ outDOM ʼArām which at _ beyond the _ river and _ they _ cameḨēylām and _ Shōⱱāk the _ commanderof _ the_ armyof _ Hₐdadˊezer at _ head _ them .
17 And _ told to _ Dāvid and _ gathered DOM all Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he/it _ passed_ throughDOM the _ Yardēn/(Jordan) and _ came Ḩēylām _ to and _ arrayed ʼArām to _ meet Dāvid and _ fought with _ him/it .
18 And _ fled ʼArām from _ face/in _ front_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ killed Dāvid of _ ʼArām seven hundred(s) charioteer[s] and _ forty thousand horsemen and _ DOM Shōⱱāk the _ commanderarmy _ their he _ struck_ downand _ he/it _ diedthere .
