6 And he _came _out from _there, and he _is _coming into the hometown of _him, and the apprentices/followers of _him are _following after _him.
2 And of_the_day _of _rest having _become, he _began to _be _teaching in the synagogue, and many hearing were _being _astonished saying:
From _where these things, to _this man, and what is the wisdom which having _been _given to _this one, and the such miracles becoming by the hands of _him?
3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of_ the _Maria/(Mirəyām), and brother of_Yakōbos/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ), and Yōsaʸs/(Yōşēf?
), and Youdas/(Yəhūdāh), and Simōn?
And are not the sisters of _him here with us?
And they _were _being _offended at him.
4 And the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) was _saying to _them, that A_prophet is not dishonourable, except not/lest in the hometown of _him, and among the relatives of _him, and in the house of _him.
5 And he _was_ not _able there to _do not _one miracle, except not/lest for_a_few sick, having _laid _on the hands, he _healed them.
6 And he _marvelled because _of the unbelief of _them.
And he _was _going _around the villages, around teaching.
7 And he _is _calling _to the twelve, and began to _be _sending_ them _out two by _two, and was _giving authority to _them over _the the unclean spirits.
8 And he _commanded to _them that they _may _be _taking _away nothing for journey, except only not/lest a_staff, not bread, not a_knapsack, not money in the belt, 9 but having _tied _on sandals, and you _all _may_ not _dress _in two tunics.
10 And he _was _saying to _them:
Wherever if you _all _may _come _in into a_house, be _remaining there until wishfully you _all _may _come _out from _there.
11 And whatever wishfully place may_ not _receive you _all, nor may _they _hear from _you _all, going _out from _there, shake _off the dust which beneath the feet of _you _all for a_testimony to _them.
12 And having _come _out, they _proclaimed that they _may _be _repenting.
13 And they _were _throwing _out many demons, and they _were _anointing many sick with _olive _oil and they _were _healing them.
14 And the king Haʸrōdaʸs heard, because/for the name of _him became manifest, and he _was _saying, that Yōannaʸs the one immersing has _been _raised from the_dead, and because _of this the miracles are _working in in _him.
15 But others were _saying, that He _is Aʸlias/(ʼĒliy^yāh), and others were _saying, that A_prophet, like one of _the prophets.
16 But having _heard, the Haʸrōdaʸs was _saying, that Yōannaʸs whom I beheaded, this was _raised.
17 For/Because the Haʸrōdaʸs himself, having _sent _out, apprehended the Yōannaʸs and bound him in prison because _of Haʸrōidias, the wife of _Filippos, the brother of _him, because he _married her.
18 For/Because the Yōannaʸs was _saying to_ the _Haʸrōdaʸs, that It _is_ not _permitting for _you to _be _having the wife of _the brother of _you.
19 And the Haʸrōidias was _resenting him, and was _wanting to _kill_ him _off, and he _was_ not _able, 20 for/because the Haʸrōdaʸs was _fearing the Yōannaʸs, having _known him as_a_ righteous and holy _man, and was _preserving him, and having _heard from _him, he _was _perplexing much, and he _was _hearing gladly from _him.
21 And having _become a_ opportune _day, when Haʸrōdaʸs on _the birthday _celebrations of _him made a_supper, to _the magnates of _him, and to _the commanders, and to _the leaders of_ the _Galilaia/(Gālīl).
22 And of _Haʸrōidias the daughter for _him having _come _in and having _danced, she _brought _pleasure to_ the _Haʸrōdaʸs and the ones reclining.
And the king said to _the little _girl:
Ask me whatever if you _may _be _wanting and I _will _be _giving it to _you.
23 And he _swore to _her, that Whatever if you _may _ask me, I _will _be _giving to _you, up _to half of _the kingdom of _me.
24 And having _come _out, she _said to _the mother of _her:
What may _I _request?
And she said:
The head of _Yōannaʸs the one immersing.
25 And having _come _in immediately with earnestness to the king, she _requested saying:
I _am _wanting that immediately you _may _give the head of _Yōannaʸs the immerser to _me on a_platter.
26 And the king having _become very _sorrowful, because _of the oaths and the ones reclining he_ not _wanted to _reject her.
27 And immediately the king having _sent _out an_executioner, commanded to _bring the head of _him.
And having _gone _away, he _beheaded him in the prison, 28 and brought the head of _him on a_platter, and gave it to _the little _girl, and the little _girl gave it to _the mother of _her.
29 And having _heard it, the apprentices/followers of _him came and took _up the corpse of _him, and they _laid it in a_tomb.
30 And the ambassadors are _being _gathered _together to the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa), and they _reported to _him all things as _much _as they _did and as _much _as they _taught.
31 And he _is _saying to _them:
Come you _all yourselves by yourselves to a_desolate place and rest a_little.
For/Because the ones coming and the ones going were many, and they _were_ not _even _having _opportunity to _eat.
32 And they _went _away by the boat into a_ desolate _place by themselves.
33 And they _saw them going and many recognized them, and from all the the_cities they _ran _together there on _foot and they _went _ahead of _them.
34 And having _come _out, he _saw a_great crowd and he _was _feeling _compassion to them because they _were as sheep not having a_shepherd, and he _began to _be _teaching them many things.
35 And the_hour already it _having _become late, the apprentices/followers of _him having _approached to _him were _saying, that The place is desolate, and it _is already an_ late _hour, 36 send_ them _away, in _order _that having _gone _away to the surrounding country and villages, they _may _buy something for _themselves they _may _eat.
37 But answering he said to _them:
You _all give something to _them to _eat.
And they _are _saying to _him:
Having _gone _away, may _we _buy two _hundred of _daʸnarion_coins loaves, and we _will _be _giving something to _them to _eat?
38 And he is _saying to _them:
How _many loaves are _you _all _having?
Be _going, see.
And having _known they _are _saying:
Five and two fishes.
39 And he _commanded to _them to _sit _down all, groups by _groups on the green grass.
40 And sat _down groups by _groups, by hundred and by fifty.
41 And having _taken the five loaves and the two fishes, having _looked _up to the sky, he _blessed and broke _up the loaves, and was _giving to _the apprentices/followers of _him in _order _that they _may _be _setting _before to _them, and he _divided the two fishes to _all.
42 And they_ all _ate and were _satisfied.
43 And they _took _up fragments of _twelve baskets fillings, and of the fishes.
44 And the ones having _eaten the loaves were five _thousand men.
45 And immediately he _compelled the apprentices/followers of _him to _board into the boat, and to _be _going _before to the side across to Baʸthsaida, until he is _sending _away the crowd.
46 And having _bid _goodbye to _them, he _went _away into the mountain to _pray.
47 And having _become evening, the boat was in the_midst of _the sea, and only he on the land.
48 And having _seen them being _tormented in the time to _be _rowing, because/for the wind was contrary to _them, about the_fourth watch of _the night he _is _coming to them, walking on the sea, and was _wanting to _pass _by them.
49 And they, having _seen him on the sea walking, supposed that he _is a_ghost, and they _cried _out.
50 For/Because all saw him and were _disturbed.
And he immediately spoke with them, and is _saying to _them:
Be _having _courage, I am he, be_ not _fearing.
51 And he _went _up to them into the boat, and the wind died _down.
And they _were _marvelling exceedingly in themselves, 52 for/because they_ not _understood concerning the loaves, but the heart of _them was having _been _hardened.
53 And having _crossed _over to the land, they _came to Gennaʸsaret and were _anchored.
54 And of _them on _having _come _out out _of the boat, immediately having _recognized him, 55 ran _around all the that country, and they _began to _be _carrying _about on the pallets the ones having sickly, where they _were _hearing that he _is.
56 And wherever wishfully he _was _entering _in into villages, or into cities, or into fields, in the marketplaces they _were _laying the ones ailing, and they _were _imploring him that they _may _touch even _if against _the fringe of _the garment of _him, and as _many _as wishfully touched against _him were _being _healed.
