18 After these things I _saw another messenger coming _down out _of the heaven, having authority great, and the earth was _illuminated with the glory of _him.
2 And he _cried _out with a_mighty voice saying:
Fell, fell Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
) the great.
And it _became a_dwelling _place of _demons, and a_prison of _every spirit unclean, and a_prison of _every bird unclean, and having _been _hated.
3 Because of the wine of _the rage of _the sexual _immorality of _her, have _drunk all the nations, and the kings of _the earth with her committed _sexual _immorality, and the merchants of _the earth by the power of _the sensuality of _her became _rich.
4 And I _heard another voice from the heaven saying:
Come _out the people of _me out _of her, in _order _that not you _all _may _participate in _the sins of _her, and of the plagues of _her, in _order _that not you _all _may _receive, 5 because were _joined _together of _her the sins until the heaven, and remembered the god the wrongs of _her.
6 Give _back to _her as also she gave _back, and double the double, according _to the works of _her, in the cup which she _mixed, mix to _her double, 7 as _much _as she _glorified herself and lived _sensuously, so _much give to _her torment and mourning.
Because in the heart of _her she _is _saying, that I _am _sitting queen… and a_widow not I _am and mourning by _no _means not I _may _see.
8 Because _of this, in one day will _be _coming the plagues of _her, death, and mourning, and famine, and with fire she _will _be _being _burned _up, because mighty is the_master the god which having _judged her.
9 And will _be _weeping and will _be _mourning for her the kings of _the earth, which with her having _committed _sexual _immorality and having _lived _sensuously, whenever they _may _be _seeing the smoke of _the burning of _her, 10 from afar having _stood, because _of the fear of _the torment of _her saying:
Woe, woe, the city the great Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
), the city the strong.
Because in _one hour came the judgment of _you.
11 And the merchants of _the earth are _weeping and are _mourning for her, because the cargo of _them no _one is _buying no _longer, 12 cargo of _gold, and of _silver, and of _stone precious, and of _pearls, and of _linen, and of _purple, and of _silk, and of _scarlet, and all wood citron, and every object ivory, and every object of wood most _precious, and of _bronze, and of _iron, and of _marble, 13 and cinnamon, and amomum, and incenses, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and olive _oil, and fine _flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and of _horses, and of _carriages, and of _bodies, and souls of _humans.
14 And the fruit of _you of _the desire of _the soul went _away from you, and all the sleek things and the splendid things destroyed from you, and no _longer by _no _means not them will _be _finding.
15 The merchants of _these things which having _become _rich, from her from afar will _be _standing, because _of the fear of _the torment of _her, weeping and mourning 16 saying:
Woe, woe, the city the great, you having _been _clothed in _linen, and purple, and scarlet, and having _been _gilded with gold, and stone precious, and pearl.
17 Because in _one hour was _desolated the so _much riches.
And every captain, and every the one to a_place sailing, and sailors, and as _many _as the sea are _working, from afar stood 18 and they _cried _out, seeing the smoke of _the burning of _her saying:
What is similar to _the city the great?
19 And they _throw dust on the heads of _them, and they _cried _out, weeping and mourning saying:
Woe, woe, the city the great, in which became _rich all the ones having the ships in the sea by the wealth of _her.
Because in _one hour she _was _desolated.
20 Be _being _gladdened over her, heaven, and the holy ones, and the ambassadors, and the prophets, because judged the god the judgment for _you _all by her.
21 And took _up one messenger a_stone mighty like stone great, and he _throw it into the sea saying:
Thus with _violence will _be _being _thrown Babulōn/(Bāⱱel?
) the great city, and by _no _means not it _may _be _found anymore.
22 And the_sound of _harpists, and musicians, and flute _players, and trumpeters, by _no _means not may _be _heard in you anymore, and every craftsman of _every craft by _no _means not may _be _found in you anymore, and the_sound of_a_grinding _stone by _no _means not may _be _heard in you anymore, 23 and the_light of _lamp by _no _means not may _shine in you anymore, and the_voice of_a_bridegroom and of_a_bride by _no _means not may _be _heard in you anymore, because the merchants of _you were the magnates of _the earth, because by the sorcery of _you were _deceived all the nations.
24 And in her the_blood of _prophets and of _holy ones was _found, and of _all the ones having _been _slain on the earth.
