This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

Yeshua commands the wind

8:23 Yeshua commands the wind

(Mark 4:35-41, Luke 8:22-25)

23Then Yeshua and his apprentices followed him and got into the boat and launched it. 24Then wow, a huge storm rose up on the lake and the waves started coming into the boat, but Yeshua was asleep. 25They woke him up and pleaded, “Master, save us, we’re going to drown.”

26What are you worried about,”, asked Yeshua, “you who don’t have much faith. Then he stood up and told the winds and the water to stop, and the lake became very calm.

27The people were astonished and asked, “What kind of man is this that the winds and the lake just do what he says?”
