The Harvest of the Earth

14 Then I looked, and behold, there was a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of [fn]the temple, crying out with a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, “Take yoʋr sickle and reap, because [fn]the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So he who was sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven; he too had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel, who had authority over the fire, came out from the altar and called out with a loud [fn]cry to the angel who had the sharp sickle, “Take yoʋr sharp sickle and gather the clusters [fn]from the vintage of the earth, for [fn]the grapes of the earth are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth, gathered the vintage of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 Then the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, as high as a horse's bridle, for one thousand six hundred stadia.
