28 [was]_a_son of_twenty year[s] ʼĀḩāzz in/on/at/with_became_king_he and_six_of teen year[s] he_reigned in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim and_not he_did the_right in/on_both_eyes_of of_Yahweh as_Dāvid his/its_father.
2 And_he/it_went in/on/at/with_ways of_the_kings of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_also molten_images he_made for_the_Baˊals.
3 And_he he_made_smoke in/on/at/with son_of wwww and_burned DOM sons_his in/on/at/with_fire according_to_detestable the_nations which he_had_dispossessed Yahweh from_face/in_front_of the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
4 And_sacrificed and_burned_incense in/on/at/with_high_places and_on the_hills and_under every tree luxuriant.

5 And_gave_him Yahweh his/its_god in/on/at/with_hand of_the_king of_Rām and_defeated in_him/it and_took from_him/it captive[s] large and_brought Dammeseq and_also in/on/at/with_hand of_the_king of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) he_was_given and_defeated in/on/over_him/it a_defeat great.
6 and_killed Pekah the_son of_Remaliah in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh one_hundred and_twenty thousand in/on_day one the_all [were]_sons of_strength in/on/at/with_forsaken_they DOM Yahweh the_god ancestors_their.
7 And_killed Zikri (the)_warrior of_ʼEfrayim DOM Maaseiah the_son the_king and_DOM Azrikam the_officer the_palace and_DOM Elkanah the_second the_king.
8 and_took_captive the_people of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) of_brothers_their two_hundred thousand women sons and_daughters and_also booty much they_plundered from_them and_brought DOM the_booty to_Shomrōn.

10 And_now the_people of_Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālayim you_all [are]_saying to_subjugate as_slaves and_as_female_servants to/for_you_all not certainly you_all of_your_all’s [are]_guilt(s) to/for_YHWH god_your_all’s.
11 And_now listen_to_me and_return the_captives which you_all_have_taken_captive from_brothers_your_all’s DOM the_burning of_the_anger of_Yahweh on_you_all.
12 and_stood men from_leaders of_the_descendants of_ʼEfrayim Azariah the_son of_Jehohanan Berekiah the_son of_Meshillemoth and_Jehizkiah the_son of_Shallum and_Amasa the_son of_Hadlai on the_(ones_who)_went from the_war.
13 And_they_said to/for_them not you_all_must_bring DOM the_captives here DOM as_guilt of_Yahweh on_us you_all [are]_saying to_add to sins_our and_to guilt_our DOM much guilt to/for_us and_fierce of_anger [is]_towards Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).

15 And_arose the_men who they_had_been_designated in/on/at/with_name and_took in/on/at/with_captives and_all naked_their they_clothed from the_plunder and_clothed_them and_gave_sandals_them and_food_them and_drink_them and_anointed_them and_carrying_them in/on/at/with_donkeys to/from_all/each/any/every [one_who]_stumbled and_brought_them Yərīḩō (a)_city the_palm_trees beside brothers_their and_returned Shomrōn.

18 And_Philistines they_had_made_a_raid in/on/at/with_cities the_shephelah and_the_Negeⱱ of_Yəhūdāh and_captured DOM house_of wwww and_DOM Aijalon and_DOM the_Gederoth and_DOM Socoh and_her/its_daughters and_DOM Timnāˊh and_her/its_daughters and_DOM Gimzo and_DOM villages_its and_they_lived there.
19 DOM he_had_humbled Yahweh DOM Yəhūdāh in_account_of ʼĀḩāzz the_king of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM he_had_allowed_lack_of_restraint in/on/at/with_Yəhūdāh and_to_be_unfaithful unfaithfulness in/on/at/with_LORD.
20 And_came on/upon/above_him/it wwww wwww the_king of_Assyria and_he/it_laid_seige to_him/it and_not strengthening_him.
21 DOM he_had_plundered ʼĀḩāzz DOM the_house of_Yahweh and_DOM the_house the_king and_the_princes and_he/it_gave to_king of_Assyria and_not as_help to_him/it.

22 And_in/on/at/with_time harassed to_him/it and_became_more to_unfaithful in/on/at/with_LORD that the_king ʼĀḩāzz.
23 And_he/it_sacrificed to_gods of_Dammeseq the_defeated in/on/over_him/it and_he/it_said DOM the_gods of_the_kings of_Rām they [are]_helping DOM_them to/for_them I_will_sacrifice and_help_me and_they they_became to_him/it to_downfall_him and_to/for_all Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
24 And_gathered_together ʼĀḩāzz DOM the_utensils of_the_house the_ʼₑlhīmv and_cut_in_pieces DOM the_utensils of_the_house the_ʼₑlhīmv and_he/it_closed_up DOM the_doors of_the_house of_Yahweh and_he/it_made to_him/it altars in_all corner in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim.
25 And_on/over_all city and_town of_Yəhūdāh he_made high_places to_burn_incense to_gods other and_provoked_toanger DOM Yahweh the_god ancestors_his.
26 And_rest acts_his and_all ways_his the_first and_the_last see_they [are]_written on the_scroll of_the_kings of_Yəhūdāh and_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
27 And_slept ʼĀḩāzz with fathers_his and_buried_him in/on/at/with_city in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim DOM not bring_him into_tombs of_the_kings of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_became_king Ḩizqiy^yāh son_his in_place_his.
