Open English Translation 2CH Chapter 25

25 a_son of_twenty and_five year[s] he_became_king Amaziah and_twenty and_nine year[s] he_reigned in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim and_name_of his/its_mother [was]_Jehoaddan from_Yərūshālayim.
2 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of of_Yahweh only not in/on/at/with_heart complete.
3 And_he/it_was just_as it_was_secure the_kingdom on/upon/above_him/it and_killed DOM servants_his the_killed DOM the_king his/its_father.
4 And_DOM children_their not he_put_to_death DOM according_to_the_written in/on/at/with_law in/on/at/with_book of_Mosheh which he_commanded Yahweh to_say not they_will_die parents on children and_children not they_will_die on parents DOM each in/on/at/with_sin_his_own they_will_die.
5 and_assembled Amaziah DOM Yəhūdāh and_set_them according_to_houses of_ancestors under_commanders the_thousands and_of_commanders the_hundreds to/from_all/each/any/every Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn and_mustered_those to_from_son_of of_twenty year[s] and_upward and_found_they three hundred(s) thousand chosen_[man] [who]_goes_forth of_warfare [who]_holds a_spear and_shield.
6 And_hired from_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) one_hundred thousand mighty_[man] of_strength in/on/at/with_one_hundred talent[s] of_silver.
7 And_man the_ʼₑlhīmv he_came to_him/it to_say the_king not let_it_go with_you the_army of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM not Yahweh [is]_with Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) all the_descendants of_ʼEfrayim.

11 and_Amaziah he_strengthened_himself and_led DOM people_his and_he/it_went wwww wwww and_struck_down DOM the_people of_Sēˊīr ten thousand(s).
12 And_ten thousand(s) alive they_took_captive the_people of_Yəhūdāh and_took_them to_top the_cliff and_threw_down_them from_top the_rock and_all_them they_were_split_open.
13 and_the_sons the_troops which he_had_turned_back Amaziah from_go with_him/it to_the_battle and_raided in/on/at/with_cities of_Yəhūdāh from_Shomrōn and_unto house_of wwww and_struck_down from_them three thousand(s) and_took plunder much.

14 and_he/it_was after came Amaziah from_slaughtering DOM [the]_ʼₑdōmites and_he/it_brought DOM the_gods of_the_people of_Sēˊīr and_set_up_them to_him/it as_gods and_before_face/front_them he_bowed_down and_to_them he_made_smoke.
15 And_it_glowed/burned the_anger of_Yahweh in/on/at/with_Amaziah and_sent to_him/it a_prophet and_he/it_said to_him/it to/for_what have_you_sought DOM the_gods the_people’s which not they_delivered DOM people_their_own from_your(ms)_hand.
16 And_he/it_was in/on/at/with_speaking_he to_him/it and_he/it_said to_him/it the_as_counselor to/for_the_king appointed_you cease to/for_yourself(m) to/for_what struck_down_you and_stopped the_prophet and_he/it_said I_know DOM_that he_has_planned god to_destroy_you DOM you_have_done this and_not you_have_listened to_advice_my.
17 and_took_counsel Amaziah the_king of_Yəhūdāh and_sent to Yōʼāsh the_son of_Jehoahaz the_son of_Jehu the_king of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_say wwww[fn] let_us_look_at_one_another faces.
18 And_sent Yōʼāsh the_king of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to Amaziah the_king of_Yəhūdāh to_say the_thistle which in/on/at/with_Lebanon it_sent to the_cedar which in/on/at/with_Lebanon to_say give DOM daughter_your to_son_my to/for_(a)_woman and_passed_by the_animal the_field which in/on/at/with_Lebanon and_trampled DOM the_thistle.
19 You_have_said here you_have_defeated DOM ʼₑdōm and_lifted_up_you heart_your in_boastfulness now stay in/on/at/with_home_your to/for_what will_you_engage_in_strife in/on/at/with_trouble and_fall you and_Yihudah with_you.

23 And_DOM Amaziah the_king of_Yəhūdāh the_son of_Yōʼāsh the_son of_Jehoahaz he_seized Yōʼāsh the_king of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) in_house_of wwww and_brought_him Yərūshālayim and_broke_down in/on/at/with_wall of_Yərūshālayim from_gate of_ʼEfrayim to the_gate the_corner four hundred(s) cubit[s].
24 And_all the_gold and_the_silver and_DOM all the_vessels the_found in_house_of the_ʼₑlhīmv with tilling_of wwww and_DOM the_treasures of_the_house the_king and_DOM the_sons the_hostages and_returned Shomrōn.
25 and_he/it_lived Amaziah the_son of_Yōʼāsh the_king of_Yəhūdāh after the_death of_Yōʼāsh the_son of_Jehoahaz the_king of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) fif- teen year[s].
26 And_rest of_the_matters of_Amaziah the_first and_the_last not see_they written on the_scroll of_the_kings of_Yəhūdāh and_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
27 And_from_time when he_turned_aside Amaziah from_following Yahweh and_formed on/upon/above_him/it a_conspiracy in/on/at/with_Yərūshālayim and_fled Lachish_to and_sent after_him Lachish_to and_killed_him there.
