17 As Yeshua started on the walk to Yerushalem, he took the twelve apprentices aside by themselves on the way, and told them, 18 “Listen, we’re going to Yerushalem, and the son of humanity will be handed over to the chief priests and the religious teachers, and they’ll condemn him to death 19 and hand him over to the non-Jews to be mocked and flogged and executed on a post, and then on the third day he’ll come back to life.”
