20 For/Because the kingdom of _the heavens is similar to_a_man, a_home _owner, who came _out together _with in _the _morning to _hire workers for the vineyard of _him.
2 And having _agreed _together with the workers for a_daʸnarion_coin for _the day, he _sent_ them _out into the vineyard of _him.
3 And having _come _out about the_third hour, he _saw others having _stood idle in the marketplace, 4 and to _those he _said:
You _all also be _going into the vineyard, and whatever if may _be right, I _will _be _giving to _you _all.
5 And they went _away.
Having _come _out again about the_sixth and ninth hour, he _did likewise.
6 And having _come _out about the eleventh, he _found others having _stood, and he _is _saying to _them:
Why have _you _all _stood here idle all the day?
7 They _are _saying to _him:
Because no _one hired us.
He _is _saying to _them:
You _all be _going also into the vineyard.
8 And having _become evening, the master of _the vineyard is _saying to _the manager of _him:
Call the workers and give _back to _them the wage, having _begun from the last to the first.
9 And the ones having _come about the eleventh hour each received a_daʸnarion_coin.
10 And the first ones having _come thought that they _will _be _receiving more, but they each also received a_daʸnarion_coin.
11 And having _received, they _were _grumbling against the home _owner 12 saying:
These the last ones worked one hour, and you _made them equal to _us, to _the ones having _borne the burden of _the day and the scorching _heat.
13 But he answering of _them said to _one Friend, I _am_ not _doing _wrong to _you.
Not you _agreed _together for_a_daʸnarion_coin with _me?
14 Take _up what is your and be _going, but I _am _wanting to _give to _this the last as also to _you.
15 Or not is _it _permitting for _me, what I _am _willing to _do with the mine?
Or is the eye of _you evil, because I am good?
16 Thus the last will _be first, and the first last.
17 And the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) going _up to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim), took the twelve apprentices/followers by themselves, and on the way he _said to _them, 18 Behold, we _are _going _up to Hierousalaʸm, and the son of_ the _man will _be _being _given _over to _the chief _priests and scribes, and they _will _be _condemning him to _death, 19 and they _will _be _giving_ him _over to _the pagans, in _order that to _mock, and to _flog, and to _execute _on _a _stake, and on _the third day he _will _be _rising _up.
20 Then the mother of _the sons of _Zebedaios approached to _him with the sons of _her, prostrating and requesting something from him.
21 And he said to _her:
What are _you _wanting?
She _is _saying to _him:
Say that these the two sons of _me may _sit _down, one on the_right and one on the_left of _you in the kingdom of _you.
22 But the Yaʸsous answering said:
You _all _have_ not _known what you _all _are _requesting.
Are _you _all _being _able to _drink the cup which I am _going to _be _drinking?
They _are _saying to _him:
We _are _being _able.
23 He _is _saying to _them:
On _one _hand you _all _will _be _drinking the cup of _me, on _the _other _hand which to _sit _down on the_right of _me and on the_left, is not mine to _give, but for _whom it _has _been _prepared by the father of _me.
24 And having _heard, the ten resented about the two brothers.
25 But the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) having _called _to them said:
You _all _have _known that the rulers of _the pagans are _exercising _mastership over _them, and the great ones are _exercising _authority over _them.
26 It _will_ not _be thus among you _all, but whoever if among you _all may _be _wanting to _become great, he _will _be servant of _you _all, 27 and whoever wishfully among you _all may _be _wanting to _be first, he _will _be slave of _you _all, 28 as the son of_ the _man came not to _be _served, but to _serve and to _give the life of _him a_ransom for many.
29 And them going _out from Yeriⱪō/(Yərīḩō), a_ great _crowd followed after _him.
30 And see, two blind men sitting beside the road, having _heard that Yaʸsous is _passing _by, they _cried _out saying, show _mercy to _us, master, son of _Dawid/(Dāvid).
31 And the crowd warned to _them that they _may _keep _silent.
But they cried _out greater saying:
master, son of _Dawid, show _mercy to _us.
32 And the Yaʸsous having _stopped, called them and said:
What are _you _all _wanting I _may _do for _you _all?
33 They _are _saying to _him:
master, that may _be _opening _up the eyes of _us.
34 And the Yaʸsous having _been _feeling _compassion, touched against _the eyes of _them, and immediately they _received _sight and they _followed after _him.
