20 For/Because the kingdom of _ the heavens is similar to _ a _ man , a _ home_ owner , who came _ out together _ with in _ the_ morning to _ hire workers for the vineyard of _ him .
2 And having _ agreed_ together with the workers for a _ daʸnarion_ coin for _ the day , he _ sent_ them _ out into the vineyard of _ him .
3 And having _ come_ out about the _ third hour , he _ saw others having _ stood idle in the marketplace , 4 and to _ those he _ said :
You _ all also be _ going into the vineyard , and whatever if may _ be right , I _ will_ be_ giving to _ you_ all .
5 And they went _ away .
Having _ come_ out again about the _ sixth and ninth hour , he _ did likewise .
6 And having _ come_ out about the eleventh , he _ found others having _ stood , and he _ is_ saying to _ them :
Why have _ you_ all_ stood here idle all the day ?
7 They _ are_ saying to _ him :
Because no _ one hired us .
He _ is_ saying to _ them :
You _ all be _ going also into the vineyard .
8 And having _ become evening , the master of _ the vineyard is _ saying to _ the manager of _ him :
Call the workers and give _ back to _ them the wage , having _ begun from the last to the first .
9 And the having _ come about the eleventh hour each received a _ daʸnarion_ coin .
10 And the first having _ come thought that they _ will_ be_ receiving more , but they each also received a _ daʸnarion_ coin .
11 And having _ received , they _ were_ grumbling against the home _ owner 12 saying :
These the last worked one hour , and you _ made them equal to _ us , to _ the having _ borne the burden of _ the day and the scorching _ heat .
13 But he answering of _ them said to _ one Friend , I _ am_ not _ doing_ wrong to _ you .
Not you _ agreed_ together for _ a _ daʸnarion_ coin with _ me ?
14 Take _ up what is your and be _ going , but I _ am_ wanting to _ give to _ this the last as also to _ you .
15 Or not is _ it_ permitting for _ me , what I _ am_ willing to _ do with the mine ?
Or is the eye of _ you evil , because I am good ?
16 Thus the last will _ be first , and the first last .
17 And the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) going _ up to Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) , took the twelve apprentices/followers by themselves , and on the way he _ said to _ them , 18 Behold , we _ are_ going_ up to Hierousalaʸm , and the son of _ the _ man will _ be_ being_ given_ over to _ the chief _ priests and scribes , and they _ will_ be_ condemning him to _ death , 19 and they _ will_ be_ giving_ him _ over to _ the pagans , in _ order that to _ mock , and to _ flog , and to _ execute_ on_ a_ stake , and on _ the third day he _ will_ be_ rising_ up .
20 Then the mother of _ the sons of _ Zebedaios approached to _ him with the sons of _ her , prostrating and requesting something from him .
21 And he said to _ her :
What are _ you_ wanting ?
She _ is_ saying to _ him :
Say that these the two sons of _ me may _ sit_ down , one on the _ right and one on the _ left of _ you in the kingdom of _ you .
22 But the Yaʸsous answering said :
You _ all_ have_ not _ known what you _ all_ are_ requesting .
Are _ you_ all_ being_ able to _ drink the cup which I am _ going to _ be_ drinking ?
They _ are_ saying to _ him :
We _ are_ being_ able .
23 He _ is_ saying to _ them :
On _ one_ hand you _ all_ will_ be_ drinking the cup of _ me , on _ the_ other_ hand which to _ sit_ down on the _ right of _ me and on the _ left , is not mine to _ give , but for _ whom it _ has_ been_ prepared by the father of _ me .
24 And having _ heard , the ten resented about the two brothers .
25 But the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) having _ called_ to them said :
You _ all_ have_ known that the rulers of _ the pagans are _ exercising_ mastership over _ them , and the great are _ exercising_ authority over _ them .
26 It _ will_ not _ be thus among you _ all , but whoever if among you _ all may _ be_ wanting to _ become great , he _ will_ be servant of _ you_ all , 27 and whoever wishfully among you _ all may _ be_ wanting to _ be first , he _ will_ be slave of _ you_ all , 28 as the son of _ the _ man came not to _ be_ served , but to _ serve and to _ give the life of _ him a _ ransom for many .
29 And them going _ out from Yeriⱪō/(Yə rīḩō) , a _ great _ crowd followed after _ him .
30 And see , two blind men sitting beside the road , having _ heard that Yaʸsous is _ passing_ by , they _ cried_ out saying , show _ mercy to _ us , master , son of _ Dawid/(Dāvid) .
31 And the crowd warned to _ them that they _ may_ keep_ silent .
But they cried _ out greater saying :
master , son of _ Dawid , show _ mercy to _ us .
32 And the Yaʸsous having _ stopped , called them and said :
What are _ you_ all_ wanting I _ may_ do for _ you_ all ?
33 They _ are_ saying to _ him :
master , that may _ be_ opening_ up the eyes of _ us .
34 And the Yaʸsous having _ been_ feeling_ compassion , touched against _ the eyes of _ them , and immediately they _ received_ sight and they _ followed after _ him .
