2Sam 7:12-16:
12 when your time on earth comes to an end and you’re laid down with your ancestors, I will appoint one of your sons to be king and I will establish his kingdom.[ref] 13 He’s the one who’ll build a temple for me, and I will make his descendents reign forever. 14 I myself will become like a father to him, and he’ll become like a son to me. When he disobeys, I’ll punish him like fathers punish their sons.[ref] 15 But my kindness won’t turn away from you like I turned away from Sha’ul—the one who I removed ahead of you. 16 Your descendants and your kingdom will remain forever. Your throne will be established forever.’ ”[ref]
1Ki 2:4:
4 so that Yahweh’s promise to me that he’d keep one of my descendants on Yisrael’s throne, will stand because he gave the condition, ‘If your descendants will obey me and worship me in truth with all their hearts and with all their souls.’
1Ch 17:11-14:
11 When your time on earth is up, and it’s time to join your deceased ancestors, then I’ll raise up one of your sons and establish his kingdom. 12 He’ll be the one to build a temple for me and establish a dynasty that will last forever. 13 I myself will be a father to him, and he’ll be a son to me, and I won’t cease my loyal commitment to him like I ended it with your predecessor.[ref] 14 I’ll confirm his rule over my temple and my kingdom forever, and his ruling dynasty will last forever.”
Num 3:5-10:
5 Then Yahweh told Mosheh, 6 “Summon the Levites to come and stand in front of Aharon the priest, so they can assist him. 7 They must perform duties for him and for the entire community at and around the sacred tent, 8 including looking after all of its equipment and fulfilling the obligations of the Israelis. 9 You must assign the Levites to Aharon—out of all the Israelis it’s them who are assigned to serve the priests. 10 Appoint Aharon and his sons as priests and to preserve the priesthood. Any other person who tries to act as a priest must be executed.”
