36 and_he/it _was in/on/at/with_four _of teen year to/for_the _king Ḩizəqiy^yāh he _came _up Sennacherib the _king of _Assyria on all the _cities of _Yəhūdāh the_fortified and_captured_them.
2 And_sent the _king of _Assyria DOM [the]_Rab- shaqeh from_Lachish Yərūshālayim_at to the_king Ḩizəqiy^yāh in/on/at/with_army massive and_stood in/on/at/with_conduit the_pool the_upper in/on/at/with_highway of _[the]_field of _[the]_washer.
3 And_he/it _went _out to_him/it ʼEləyāqīm the _son of _Hilkiah who [was]_over the_palace and_Shebna the_secretary and_Joah the _son of _ʼĀşāf the_recorder.
4 And_he/it _said to_them [the]_Rab- shaqeh say please to Ḩizəqiy^yāh thus he _says the_king the_great the _king of _Assyria what the_confidence the_this which you _trust.
5 I _say only a _word of _lips [is]_a _plan and_strength for _the_war now on whom do _you _rely (cmp) you _have _rebelled in/on/at/with_me.
6 Here you _rely on the _staff the_reed the_broken the_this on Miʦərayim/(Egypt) which he _will _support _himself anyone on/upon/above_him/it and_pierce in/on/at/with_hand_his and_pierce_it [is]_thus Farəˊoh the _king of _Miʦərayim to/from_all/each/any/every the_rely on/upon/above_him/it.
7 And_because/when you _will _say to_me to Yahweh god_our we _trust am_not [is]_he [the _one]_whom he _has _removed Ḩizəqiy^yāh DOM high _places_him and_DOM altars_whose and_he/it _said to_Yəhūdāh and_to_Yərūshālayim to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before the_altar the_this you _all _will _bow _down.

11 And_he/it _said ʼEləyāqīm and_Shebna and_Joah to [the]_Rab- shaqeh speak please to your_servants Rāmaic DOM [are]_understanding we and_not speak to_us Judean in/on/at/with_hearing the_people which [is]_on the_wall.
12 And_he/it _said [the]_Rab- shaqeh to master_your and_to_you(ms) sent_me my_master/master to_speak DOM the_words the_these not to the_men the_sitting on the_wall to_eat DOM dung_their _own[fn] and_to_drink DOM feet _of_their _own[fn] with_you _all.
13 And_stood [the]_Rab- shaqeh and_he/it _called in/on/at/with_voice great Judean and_he/it _said hear DOM the _words the_king the_great the _king of _Assyria.
14 Thus he _says the_king not let _him _deceive to/for_you _all Ḩizəqiy^yāh DOM not he _will _be _able to_deliver DOM_you _all.
15 And_not let _him _make _trust DOM_you _all Ḩizəqiy^yāh to Yahweh to_say certainly _(deliver) he _will _deliver_us Yahweh not it _will _be _given the_city the_this in/on/at/with_hand of _the _king of _Assyria.
16 Do _not listen to Ḩizəqiy^yāh DOM thus he _says the_king of _Assyria make with_me a _blessing and_come _out to_me and_eat everyone vine_his _own and_each fig _tree_his and_drink everyone the _water cistern_his _own.
17 Until come_I and_take _away DOM_you _all to a _land like_land_your _all’s _own a _land of _grain and_new _wine a _land of _bread and_vineyards.
18 Lest he _should _mislead DOM_you _all Ḩizəqiy^yāh to_say Yahweh deliver_us the_delivered the _gods the_nations anyone DOM land_his from_hand of _the _king of _Assyria.
19 Where [were]_the _gods of _Hamath and_Arpad where [were]_the _gods of _Sepharvaim and_because/when they _have _delivered DOM Shomərōn from_hand_my.
20 Who in_all the _gods the_countries the_these [are _those]_which they _have _delivered DOM land_their from_hand_my (cmp) he _will _deliver Yahweh DOM Yərūshālayim from_hand_my.
21 And_silent and_not they _answered DOM_him/it anything DOM [was]_the _command the_king it to_say not answer_him.
