8And_he/it_said where this the_way [which]_we_will_go_up and_he/it_said the_way of_the_wilderness of_ʼEdōm.
9And_he/it_went the_king of_Yisəʼēl/(Israel) and_king of_Yəhūdāh[fn] and_king of_ʼEdōm and_made_march a_journey of_seven days and_not it_belonged water for_the_army and_for_the_animals which in/on/at/with_feet_of_them.
10And_he/it_said the_king of_Yisəʼēl/(Israel) alas DOM he_has_summoned Yahweh for_three[fn] the_kings the_these to_give DOM_them in/on/at/with_hand of_Mōʼāv.

13And_he/it_said ʼElīshāˊ to the_king of_Yisəʼēl/(Israel) what to/for_me and_to_you go to the_prophets I_will_show_you(ms) and_near/to the_prophets mother_your and_he/it_said to_him/it the_king of_Yisəʼēl/(Israel) no DOM he_has_summoned Yahweh for_three the_kings the_these to_give DOM_them in/on/at/with_hand of_Mōʼāv.
14And_he/it_said ʼElīshāˊ [by]_the_life of_Yahweh of_hosts whom I_stand before_face/front_him DOM if_not the_face of_Jehoshaphat the_king of_Yəhūdāh I [am]_lifting_up if I_will_look at_you and_if see_you.
15And_now fetch to_me a_musician and_it_was while_played the_musician and_it_became on/upon/above_him/it the_hand of_Yahweh.
16And_he/it_said thus he_says Yahweh make the_wadi the_this ditches ditches.
17DOM thus he_says Yahweh not you_all_will_see wind and_not you_all_will_see rain and_the_wadi (the)_that it_will_be_filled water and_drink you_all and_cattle_your_all’s and_animals_your_all’s.
18And_a_trifle this in/on_both_eyes_of of_Yahweh and_he/it_gave DOM Mōʼāv in/on/at/with_hand_you_all.
19And_attack every city of_fortification and_all city of_choice and_all tree good you_all_will_make_fall and_all [the]_springs of_water you_all_will_stop_up and_all/each/any/every the_land the_good you_all_will_spoil in/on/at/with_stones.
20And_he/it_was in/on/at/with_morning about_the_time_offering the_sacrifice and_see/lo/see waters [were]_coming from_direction of_ʼEdōm and_she/it_was_filled the_earth/land DOM the_waters.
21And_all Mōʼāv they_had_heard DOM_that they_had_come_up the_kings to_fight in/on/at/with_them and_summoned from_all [one_who]_girds_on a_belt and_upward and_stood at the_border.
22And_rose_early in/on/at/with_morning and_the_sun it_shone on the_waters and_they_saw Mōʼāv from_opposite DOM the_waters red as_as_the_blood.
23And_they_said [is]_blood this surely_(fight) they_have_fought_one_another the_kings and_killed each DOM his/its_neighbour and_now to_the_spoil Oh_Mōʼāv.
24And_they_came to the_camp of_Yisəʼēl/(Israel) and_rose_up Yisəʼēl/(Israel) and_attacked DOM Mōʼāv and_fled from_their_face/front and_went_forward[fn] in/on/at/with_her and_defeated DOM Mōʼāv.
25And_the_cities they_tore_down and_all portion_of_land good they_threw each stone_him and_covered_it and_all spring of_water they_stopped_up and_all tree good they_made_fall until he_left_behind stones_its in/on/at/with wwww and_surrounded the_slingers and_attacked_it.
26And_he/it_saw the_king of_Mōʼāv DOM_that it_was_[too]_strong from_him/it the_battle and_he/it_took with_him seven hundred(s) man [who]_drew a_sword to_break_through to the_king of_ʼEdōm and_not they_were_able.
27And_he/it_took DOM his/its_son the_firstborn who he_will_reign in_place_his and_offered_him a_burnt_offering on the_wall and_he/it_was severe_anger great towards Yisəʼēl/(Israel) and_withdrew from_against_him and_returned to_their_own_land.
