3 Here are the sons born to o David at Hebron; the eldest & was Amnon, whose mother was Ahinoam from Jezreel, the second was Daniel, whose mother was Abigail from Karmel, 2 the third was Absalom, whose mother was Maakah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur, the fourth was Adonijah, whose mother was Haggith, 3 the fifth was Shephatiah, whose mother was Abital, the sixth was Ithream, whose mother was Eglalh,
4 These six were born to him at Hebron, where he reigned for seven years and six months. At Jerusalem he reigned for thirty-three years, 5 and at Jerusalem there were born to him Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon (these four being the sons of Bathshua the daughter of Ammiel), 6 with Ibhar, Elishua, 7 Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, Baaljoda, and Eliphelet. 9 All these were sons of David, in addition to the sons of his concubines; and Tamar was their sister.
10 Solomon was the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam of Abijah, Abijah of Asa, Asa of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat of Joram, 11 Joram of Ahaziah, Ahaziah of Joash, 12 Joash of Amaziah, Amaziah of Azariah, Azariah of Jotham, Jotham of Ahaz, 13 Ahaz of Hezekiah, Hezekiah of Manasseh, 14 Manasseh of Amon, and Amon of Josiah. 15 Josiah's sons were Johanan, his eldest, Jehoiakim his second, Zedekiah his third, and Shallum his fourth. 16 Jeconiah, son of Jehoiakim, was the father of Zedekiah; 17 the sons of Jeconiah (who was taken prisoner) were Shealtiel, 18 Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah; 19 Pedaiah's sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei; Zerubbabel was the father of Meshullam and Hananlah and their sister Shelomith, 20 also of five sons, Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushabhesed; 21 Hananlah was the father of Pelatiah, Pelatlah of Jeshaiah, Jeshaiah of Rephaiah, Rephaiah of Arnan, Arnan of Obadiah, Obadiah of Shecaniah, 22 and Shecaniah of six sons, Shemaiah, Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat; 23 Neariah's three sons were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam, 24 while Elioenai had seven sons, Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
