3 These were David’s sons who were born to him in Hevron: the first was Amnon by Ahinoam the Yizre’eli, the second Daniyel by Avigayil the Karmeli, 2 the third Avshalom (Absalom), the son of Ma’akah (daughter of King Talmay of Geshur), the fourth Adoniyah, the son of Hagit, 3 the fifth Shefatyah by Avital, the sixth Yitream by his wife Eglah.

4 Six were born to David in Hevron where he reigned for seven and a half years.[ref]

Then he reigned in Yerushalem (Jerusalem) for thirty-three years 5 and these were born to him there: Bat-Shua (also known as Bat-Sheva (Bathsheba), daughter of Amiyel)[ref] gave birth to four sons: Shimea, Shovav, Natan (Nathan), and Shelomoh (Solomon). 6 Other sons were Yavehar, Elishama, Elifelet, 7 Nogah, Nefeg, Yafia, 8 Elishama, Elyada, and Elifelet. (Nine in all.) 9 David also had sons from his slave-wives. Their sister was Tamar.

3 And_these they _were the _sons _of Dāvid[fn] whom it _was _born to_him/it in_Ḩeⱱrōn the_firstborn was_Amnon of_ʼAḩīnoˊam the _Jezreelite_woman second was_Dāniyy^ʼēl of_ʼAⱱīgayil the _Karməlī/(Carmelite)_woman.

2 The_third was_(to)_ʼAⱱīshālōm the _son _of Maˊₐkāh the _daughter _of Talmay the _king _of Gəshūr the_fourth was_ʼAdoniy^yāh the _son _of Ḩaggit.

3 The_fifth was_Shəfaţ^yāh of_ʼAⱱīţal the_sixth was_Yitrəˊām/(Ithream) of_ˊEglāh his/its_wife/woman.

4 Six_sons it _was _born to_him/it in_Ḩeⱱrōn and_he _reigned there seven years and_six months and_thirty and_three year[s] he _reigned in_Yərūshālaim/(Jerusalem).

5 And_these they _were _born to_him/it in_Yərūshālaim/(Jerusalem) Shimˊāʼ and_Shōⱱāⱱ and_Nātān and_Shəlomoh/(Solomon) four to_Bath- shūˊa the _daughter _of ˊAmmiy^ʼēl.

6 And_Yāⱱəḩar/(Ibhar) and_ʼElīshāˊma and_ʼElīfeleţ.

7 And_Nogah and_Nefeg and_Yāfīˊa/(Japhia).

8 And_ʼElīshāˊma and_ʼElyādāˊ and_ʼElīfeleţ nine.

9 All _of the _sons _of Dāvid (from)_besides _of sons _of concubines and_Tāmār sister _of_was_their.

3:10 Descendants of King Shelomoh (Solomon)

10 Shelomoh (Solomon) had a son Rehav’am (Rehoboam), he had a son Aviyah, he had a son Asa, he had a son Yehoshafat (Jehoshaphat), 11 he had a son Yoram (Joram), he had a son Ahazyah, he had a son Yoash, 12 he had a son Amatsyah, he had a son Azaryah, he had a son Yotam (Jotham), 13 he had a son Ahaz, he had a son Hizkiyah (Hezekiah), he had a son Menasheh (Manasseh), 14 he had a son Amon, and he had a son Yoshiyah (Josiah). 15 Yoshiyah had four sons: The oldest was Yohanan, second was Yehoyakim, third was Tsidkiyah (Zedekiah), and the fourth was Shalum. 16 Yehoyakim had a son Yekaneyah, and he had a son Tsidkiyah.
