1 In many portions and in many ways long ago, God, having spoken to our fathers through the prophets, 2 at the last of these days spoke to us through a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the ages; 3 who, being the brightness of his glory and exact representation of his being, upholding all the things by the word of his power and having made purification for sins, sat down at the right of the Majesty on high; 4 having become far superior to the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they. 5 For to which of the angels did he ever say,

and they will all wear out like a garment,
12 and as a cloak you will roll them up,
and as a garment they will be changed,
but you yourself are the same,
and your years will not fail.”
13 But to which of the angels has he ever said,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, being sent for service for the sake of the ones going to inherit salvation?
Instead of his, some ancient manuscripts read your.
