8Benjamin's sons were Bela, his eldest, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third, 2Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.3-5 3-5Bela became the father of Addar, Gera (father of Ehud), Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, Shephuphan, and Huram.6-8 6-8The sons of Ehud, heads of families in Geba, were Iglaam and Alemeth; Iglaam became the father of Uzza and Ashishahar, and in the open country of Moab he became the father of Mesha their sister and Hushim (who married Baara). 9Ashishahar became the father of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malkam, 10Jeuz, Shachia, and Mirma; these were his sons, chiefs of their families. 11Hushim became the father of Abitub, Elpaal 12(he built Ono, Lud, and their townships), 13Beriah, and Shema (both of whom, as family chiefs of the natives of Aijalon, routed the men of Gath), 14with their brothers Shashak and Jeremoth. 15Beriah's sons were Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16Michael, Ishpah, and Joha; 17Elpaal's sons were Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab; 19Shema's sons were Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 20Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath. 22Shashak's sons were Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 24Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25Iphdeiah, and Penuel. 26Jeremoth's sons were Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,

27Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri.

28These were family chiefs, by their genealogies, leading men, who lived at Jerusalem.

29At Gibeon lived the founder of Gibeon, Jeuel, whose wife was called Maakah; 30his eldest son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 31Gedor, Ahio, Zecher, 32and Mikloth (the father of Shimeam). They also lived at Jerusalem, opposite their fellow-clansmen. 33Ner was the father of Abner, Kish of Saul, Saul of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal; 34Jonathan's son was Merib-baal, the father of Micah, 35and Micah's sons were Pithon, Melek, Tarea, and Ahaz. 36Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah, whose sons were Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, Zimri the father of Moza, 37whose son was Binea, the father of Raphah, whose son was Eleasah, the father of Azel; 38Azel had six sons, called Azrikam, Bokru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were Azel's sons; 39his brother Eshek was the father of three, Ulam, Jeush, and Eliphelet. 40Ulam's sons were mighty warriors, archers; they had many sons and grandsons, a hundred and fifty of them. All these belonged to the Benjamites.
