Who is the greatest?

This is still a very early look into the unfinished text of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check the text in advance before using in public.

Literal Version

9:46 Who is the greatest?

(Mark 9:33-37, Mat. 18:1-5)

46[ref]Then the apprentices got themselves into a discussion about which of them might hopefully be considered the greatest. 47But Yeshua knew what was going on, so he took a young child and stood the child there next to him 48[ref]and told them, “Anyone who accepts a young child in my name is accepting me, and anyone who accepts me is accepted by the one who sent me here. Because it’s the person who is the least among you who’s at the top.

46And a_speculation came_in among them, who wishfully might_be the_ greater _one of_them.
47But the Yaʸsous having_known the speculation of_the heart of_them, having_taken_hold_of a_little_child, stood it by himself, 48and said to_them:
Whoever if may_receive this the little_child in the name of_me, is_receiving me, and whoever wishfully may_receive me, is_receiving the one having_sent_out me.
For/Because the one being least among all you_all, this one is great.
