9 And having _ called_ together the twelve , he _ gave to _ them power and authority over all the demons , and to _ be_ healing diseases , 2 and he _ sent_ them _ out to _ be_ proclaiming the kingdom of _ the _ god , and to _ be_ healing the sick .
3 And he _ said to them :
Be _ taking_ nothing _ away for the journey , neither staff , nor knapsack , nor bread , nor silver , nor to _ be_ having two tunics .
4 And into whatever wishfully house you _ all_ may_ come_ in , be _ remaining there and from _ there be _ coming_ out .
5 And as _ many_ as wishfully may _ not _ be_ receiving you _ all , coming _ out from the that city , be _ shaking_ off the dust from the feet of _ you_ all , because/for a _ testimony against them .
6 And coming _ out , they _ were_ passing_ through throughout the villages , good _ message_ preaching and healing everywhere .
7 And Haʸrōdaʸs the quarter _ ruler heard the becoming all , and was _ thoroughly_ perplexing , because _ of the to _ be_ being_ said by some that Yōannaʸs was _ raised from the _ dead , 8 and by some that Aʸlias/(ʼĒliyyāh ) was _ seen , and by _ others that a _ certain prophet of _ the ancients rose _ up .
9 And Haʸrōdaʸs said :
I beheaded Yōannaʸs , but who is this concerning whom I _ am_ hearing such ?
And he _ was_ seeking to _ see him .
10 And having _ returned , the ambassadors described to _ him as _ much_ as they _ did .
And having _ taken them , he _ withdrew by himself into a _ city being _ called Baʸthsaida .
11 But the crowds having _ known , followed after _ him .
And having _ welcomed them , he _ was_ speaking to _ them concerning the kingdom of _ the _ god , and he _ was_ healing the having need of _ healing .
12 And the day began to _ be_ declining , and the twelve having _ approached said to _ him :
Send _ away the crowd , in _ order_ that having _ been_ gone into the surrounding villages and country , they _ may_ lodge and they _ may_ find provisions , because we _ are here in a _ desolate place .
13 But he _ said to them :
You _ all give something to _ them .
to _ eat .
But they said :
Not to _ us are more than five loaves and two fishes , if surely _ not having _ been_ gone , we may _ buy foods for all the this people .
14 For/Because they _ were about five _ thousand men .
) And he _ said to the apprentices/followers of _ him :
Recline them in _ groups about fifty each .
15 And thus they _ did , and they _ all _ reclined .
16 And having _ taken the five loaves and the two fishes , having _ looked_ up to the sky , he _ blessed them and broke _ up them , and was _ giving them to _ the apprentices/followers to _ set_ before before _ the crowd .
17 And all ate and were _ satisfied , and twelve baskets was _ the amount _ taken_ up having _ been_ leftover to _ them of _ the _ fragments .
18 And it _ became at the time him to _ be praying down/against/according _ to alone , the apprentices/followers were _ being_ with with _ him , and he _ asked them saying :
Whom are _ crowds _ saying the me to _ be ?
19 And they answering said :
Yōannaʸs the immerser , and others , Aʸlias/(ʼĒliyyāh ) , but others that a _ certain prophet of _ the ancients rose _ up .
20 And he _ said to _ them :
But whom you _ all are _ saying me to _ be ?
And Petros answering said :
The chosen _ one/messiah of _ the _ god .
21 And he , having _ warned to _ them , commanded them to _ be_ telling this to _ no_ one , 22 having _ said , that It _ is_ fitting the son of _ the _ man to _ suffer many , and to _ be_ rejected by the elders , and chief _ priests , and scribes , and to _ be_ killed_ off and on _ the third day to _ be_ raised .
23 And he _ was_ saying to all :
If anyone is _ wanting to _ be_ coming after me , him _ let_ renounce himself , and him _ let_ take_ up the stake of _ him in _ every day , and him _ let_ be_ following after _ me .
24 For/Because whoever wishfully may _ be_ wanting to _ save the life of _ him , will _ be_ losing it , but whoever wishfully may _ lose the life of _ him on _ account me , this will _ be_ saving it .
25 For/Because what is _ being_ benefited a _ person , having _ gained the whole world , and having _ destroyed himself or having _ been_ lost ?
26 For/Because whoever wishfully may _ be_ ashamed_ of me and the my messages , this the son of _ the _ man will _ be_ being_ ashamed of , whenever he _ may_ come in the glory of _ him , and of _ the father , and of _ the holy messengers .
27 But I _ am_ saying to _ you_ all truly , are some of _ the having _ stood here , who by _ no_ means may _ not _ taste of _ death , until wishfully they _ may_ see the kingdom of _ the _ god .
28 And it _ became about eight days after the these sayings , having _ taken Petros , and Yōannaʸs , and Yakōbos/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) , he _ went_ up on the mountain to _ pray .
29 And it _ became at the time him to _ be_ praying , the appearance of _ the face of _ him different , and the clothing of _ him gleaming white .
30 And see , two men were _ conversing_ with with _ him , who were Mōsaʸs/(Mosheh) and Aʸlias/(ʼĒliyyāh ) , 31 who having _ been_ seen in glory , were _ spoken the departure of _ him , which he _ was_ going to _ be_ fulfilling in Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) .
32 And the Petros and the with him were having _ been_ weighed_ down with _ sleep , but having _ fully_ awoken they _ saw the glory of _ him , and the two men which having _ stood_ with with _ him .
33 And it _ became at the time them to _ be_ being_ departed from him , the Petros said to the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) :
Master , it _ is good for _ us here to _ be , and we _ may_ make three tents :
one for _ you , and one for _ Mōsaʸs , and one for _ Aʸlias , not having _ known what he _ is_ saying .
34 And of _ him saying these , a _ cloud became and overshadowed them , and they _ were_ afraid at the time to _ come_ in them into the cloud .
35 And a _ voice became out _ of the cloud saying :
This is the son of _ me , the having _ been_ chosen , be _ hearing from _ him .
36 And at the time the voice to _ become , only Yaʸsous was _ found .
And they kept _ silent , and they _ reported to _ no_ one in those the days nothing of _ what they _ have_ seen .
37 And it _ became on _ the next day , of _ them having _ come_ down from the mountain , a _ great _ crowd met with _ him .
38 And see , a _ man from the crowd shouted saying :
Teacher , I _ am_ beseeching of _ you to _ look_ at at the son of _ me , because he _ is an _ only_ begotten to _ me .
39 And see , a _ spirit is _ taking him , and suddenly he _ is_ crying_ out and it _ is_ convulsing him with foam , and is _ going_ away from him , with _ difficultly , bruising him .
40 And I _ was_ besought of _ the apprentices/followers of _ you that they _ may_ throw_ out it , and they _ were_ not _ able .
41 And the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) answering said :
Oh unbelieving generation and having _ been_ perverted , until when I _ will_ be with you _ all and I _ will_ be_ tolerating of _ you_ all ?
Bring _ forward here the son of _ you .
42 And still approaching of _ him , the demon attacked him and threw _ into_ convulsions him .
But the Yaʸsous gave _ rebuke to _ the the unclean spirit , and he _ healed the boy and gave _ him _ back to _ the father of _ him .
43 And all were _ being_ astonished at the greatness of _ the _ god .
But all wondering at all which he _ was_ doing , he _ said to the apprentices/followers of _ him , 44 You _ all set into the ears of _ you_ all the these messages , because/for the son of _ the _ man is _ going to _ be_ being_ given_ over into the _ hands of _ people .
45 But they were _ not_ knowing the this saying , and it _ was having _ been_ concealed from them , in _ order_ that they _ may_ not _ sense it , and they _ were_ fearing to _ ask him concerning the this saying .
46 And a _ speculation came _ in among them , who wishfully might _ be the _ greater _ of _ them .
47 But the Yaʸsous having _ known the speculation of _ the heart of _ them , having _ taken_ hold_ of a _ little_ child , stood it by himself , 48 and said to _ them :
Whoever if may _ receive this the little _ child in the name of _ me , is _ receiving me , and whoever wishfully may _ receive me , is _ receiving the having _ sent_ out me .
For/Because the being least among all you _ all , this is great .
49 And Yōannaʸs answering said :
Master , we _ saw someone throwing _ out demons in the name of _ you , and we _ were_ forbidding him , because he _ is_ not _ following with us .
50 But the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) said to him :
Be _ not _ forbidding him , because/for who is not against you _ all , is for you _ all .
51 And it _ became at the time to _ be_ being_ fulfilled the days of _ the ascension of _ him , and he established his face , which to _ be_ going to Hierousalaʸm/(Yə rūshālayim) , 52 and he _ sent_ out messengers before the _ face of _ him .
And having _ been_ gone , they _ came_ in into a _ village of _ the _ Samareitaʸs/(Shomrōn) , so _ as to _ prepare for _ him .
53 And they _ not _ received him , because the face of _ him was going toward Hierousalaʸm .
54 And having _ seen it , the apprentices/followers Yakōbos/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) and Yōannaʸs said :
master , are _ you_ willing that we _ may_ call fire to _ come_ down from the sky and to _ consume_ them _ up ?
55 But having _ been_ turned , he _ gave_ rebuke to _ them .
56 And they _ were_ gone to another village .
57 And going of _ them on the road , someone said to him :
I _ will_ be_ following after _ you wherever if you _ may_ be_ going_ away .
58 And the Yaʸsous said to _ him :
- foxes are _ having burrows , and the birds of _ the sky nests , but the son of _ the _ man is _ not _ having where his head may _ be_ laying .
59 And he _ said to another :
Be _ following after _ me .
But he said :
master , permit to _ me having _ gone_ away , first to _ bury the father of _ me .
60 But he _ said to _ him :
Leave the dead to _ bury the dead by _ themselves , but you having _ gone_ away , be _ proclaiming the kingdom of _ the _ god .
61 And also another he _ said :
I _ will_ be_ following after _ you , master , but first permit to _ me to _ bid_ goodbye to _ the at the home of _ me .
62 But the Yaʸsous/(Yə hōshūˊa) said :
No _ one Having _ laid_ on the hand of _ him on the _ plow , and looking on the behind , is suitable in _ the kingdom of _ the _ god .
