Psalm 113

113 Praise Yahweh!

You people who serve Yahweh, praise him!

Praise Yahweh for who he is!

2 Everyone should praise Yahweh for who he is, both now and forevermore!

3 From the people who live in the far east to the people who live in the far west,

everyone should praise Yahweh for who he is!

4 Yahweh rules over all the nations,

he is more glorious than anything under the heavens.

5 There is no one who is like Yahweh, the God whom we worship,

who sits on his throne in the highest heaven

6 and who stoops down to look at the sky and at the earth.

7 He rescues very poor people from the very poor way that they live

8 and causes people to honor them by making them

leaders among those who rule his people.

9 He also enables women who have had no children to live in their houses

as happy mothers with children.

Praise Yahweh!
