UST by section PSA 33:1

Psalm 33

33 You people who do what is right, shout joyfully because of Yahweh,

because praising him is what upright people should do.

2 Praise Yahweh by playing songs on the harp.

Praise him as you make music for him with instruments that have many strings.

3 Sing a new song to him;

play those instruments well, and shout joyfully as you play them!

4 Do this because everything that Yahweh says is true,

and we can trust that everything that he does is right.

5 He loves everything that people do that is right and just.

Yahweh faithfully loves people all over the earth.

6 Yahweh created everything in the sky by commanding it.

He created all of the stars by speaking.

7 He gathered all the water of the sea into one huge mass

as though scooping it into a container.

8 Everyone on the earth should deeply revere Yahweh.

9 They should revere him because he is the one who spoke, making the world exist.

Everything started to exist because he is the one who commanded it.

10 Yahweh stops the nations from doing what they plan to do.

He prevents the peoples from carrying out what they decide.

11 However, what Yahweh decides to do will last forever.

What he plans to do will never change.

12 What a good life people have when Yahweh is the God of their nation;

he chose those people to belong to him.

13 Yahweh looks down from heaven; he sees all human beings.

14 From the place where he lives he watches

everyone who lives on the earth.

15 He created each person’s heart,

and he knows everything that they do.

16 It is not because a king has a great army that he is able to win battles,

and it is not because a soldier is very strong that he is able to defeat his enemy.

17 It is foolish to hope that a horse can save anyone;

even with its great strength, it cannot rescue its rider.

18 Note this: Yahweh watches over those who deeply revere him;

He watches over those who confidently expect him to faithfully love them,

19 to save them from dying

and to preserve them alive through any famine.

20 We trust that Yahweh will take care of us;

he will help us and protect us.

21 Indeed, he makes us very joyful;

we trust him because he is holy.

22 Yahweh, we pray that you will always faithfully love us,

while we confidently wait for you to help us.
