7:1 The locusts vision

Northern kingdom

7 This is what my master Yahweh showed me:

Listen, he formed a locust swarm when the spring crop began to come up, and oh no, it was the late crop after the king’s initial harvest. 2 When they’d finished eating everything green across the land, then I asked, “My master Yahweh, please forgive me. How will Yisrael survive because it’s only a small country?”

3 So Yahweh backed off from that and said that he wouldn’t do it.

7 thus he_showed_me my_master YHWH and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE he_was_forming locust[s] at_the_beginning_of the_coming_up of_the_spring-crop and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE a_spring-crop after the_mowings_of the_king.
2 And_it_was if it_had_finished to_eat DOM the_vegetation_of the_earth/land and_I_said my_master YHWH forgive please who will_he_stand Yaˊₐqoⱱ/(Jacob) if/because is_small he.
3 YHWH He_relented on this not it_will_be YHWH he_said.
