Syria

3 This is what Yahweh says:

“Even if Damascus was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away their punishment,

for the cruel things they did to the people of Gilead.[ref]

4 I’ll send a fire into King Hazael’s house,

≈ and it will devour King Ben-Hadad’s fortresses.

5 I’ll smash the gate bars of Damascus

and eliminate the ruler of the Aven Valley,

and also the leader of Beyt-Eden.

The people of Aram will go in captivity to Kir,”

says Yahweh.

Philistia

6 This is what Yahweh says:

“Even if Azzah (Gaza) was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away their punishment,

because they carried a whole people group away as captives,

to hand them over to Edom.[ref] 7 I’ll send fire onto Azzah’s walls,

and it’ll devour her fortresses. 8 I will cut off those from Ashdod

≈ and the ruler of Ashkelon.

I’ll cause problems for Ekron,

and the rest of the Philistines will die,”

says Yahweh the master.

Tsor

9 This is what Yahweh says:

“Even if Tsor (Tyre) was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away their punishment,

because they handed a whole people group over to Edom,

and they didn’t take any notice of their brotherhood agreement.[ref]

10 I’ll send fire onto Tsor’s walls,

and it’ll devour her fortresses.”

Edom

11 This is what Yahweh says,

“Even if Edom was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away their punishment,

because he pursued his brother with the sword and abandoned all pity.

His anger raged continually,

≈ and his rage lasted forever.[ref]

12 I’ll send fire on Teyman,

and it’ll devour Botsrah’s fortresses.”

Ammon

13 This is what Yahweh says,

“Even if the Ammonites were three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away their punishment,

because they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead,

in order to grab territory.[ref]

14 I’ll light a fire in Rabah’s walls,

and it’ll devour its fortresses,

with a shout in the day of battle,

with a storm in the day of the whirlwind.

15 Their king will go into captivity along with his officials,”

says Yahweh.

Moab

2 This is what Yahweh says:

“Even if Moab was three or four sins below the threshold,

I wouldn’t turn away its punishment,

because he completely burnt up the bones of Edom’s king.[ref]

2 I’ll send fire on Moab,

and it will devour Keriot’s fortresses.

Moab will die in an uproar—

with shouting and the sound of the horn. 3 I’ll wipe out her judge,

≈ and I’ll kill all the leaders along with him,”

says Yahweh.

6 thus YHWH he _says on three (the)_transgressions _of ˊAzzāh and_on four not I_will _revoke _it because they_carried _away _into _exile exile complete to_deliver _up_them to_ʼEdōm.

7 And_I _will _send _forth a _fire on_the _wall _of ˊAzzāh and_it _will _consume fortresses _of_its.

8 And_I _will _cut _off inhabitant[s] from_ʼAshdōd and_one _who_holds _of (of)_a _scepter from_ʼAshqəlōn and_I _will _turn hand _of_my on ˊEqrōn and_ the _remnant _of _they _will _perish the_Fəlishtiy my_master he _says YHWH.

9 thus YHWH he _says on three (the)_transgressions _of Tsor/(Tyre) and_on four not I_will _revoke _it because they_delivered _up exile complete to_ʼEdōm and_not they _remembered the_covenant _of brothers.

10 And_I _will _send _forth a _fire on_the _wall _of Tsor/(Tyre) and_it _will _consume fortresses _of_its.

11 thus YHWH he _says on three (the)_transgressions _of ʼEdōm and_on four not I_will _revoke _it because pursued_he with_sword his/its_brother and_he _spoiled compassion(s)_of_his and_it _tore forever_continuance anger _of_his and_fury _of_his kept_she perpetuity.

12 And_I _will _send _forth a _fire on_Tēymān and_it _will _consume the _fortresses _of Bāʦərāh.

13 thus YHWH he _says on three (the)_transgressions _of the _people _of ˊAmmōn and_on four not I_will _revoke _it because they_ripped _open the _pregnant_women_of (the)_Gilˊād so _as to _enlarge DOM territory _of_their.

14 And_I _will _kindle a _fire on_the _wall _of Rabāh and_it _will _consume fortresses _of_its with_a _shout _of _alarm in/on_day battle with_a _storm in/on_day a _storm-wind[fn][fn][fn]

15 and_he _will _go king _of_their in_exile he and_officials _of_his together YHWH he _says.

2 thus YHWH he _says on three (the)_transgressions _of Mōʼāⱱ and_on four not I_will _revoke _it because burnt_he the _bones _of the _king _of ʼEdōm into_lime.

2 And_I _will _send _forth a _fire on_Mōʼāⱱ and_it _will _consume the _fortresses _of (the)_Qəriyyōt and_it _will _die in_uproar Mōʼāⱱ with_a _shout _of _alarm with_the_sound _of a _trumpet.

3 And_I _will _cut _off a _judge from_midst _of_its and_all officials _of_its I _will _kill with_him/it YHWH he _says.
