30 And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, “This, is the word that Yahweh has commanded: 2 A man, when he vows a vow to Yahweh or swears an oath to bind a bond on his life, he shall not profane his word. According to everything going out from his mouth he shall do.
3 And a woman, when she vows a vow to Yahweh and binds a bond in the house of her father in her youth, 4 and her father hears her vow and her bond that she bound on her life, and her father keeps silent to her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond that she bound on her life shall stand. 5 And if her father forbids her on the day of his hearing, all her vows and her bonds that she bound on her life shall not stand, and Yahweh will forgive her, for her father forbade her.
6 And if being, she is for a man, and her vows, are upon her, or the thoughtless speech of her lips that she bound on her life, 7 and her husband hears on the day of his hearing, and he keeps silent to her, then her vows shall stand, and her bonds that she bound on her life shall stand. 8 And if, on the day of her husband’s hearing, he forbids her, then he breaks her vow that, is upon her and the thoughtless speech of her lips that she bound on her life, and Yahweh will forgive her.
9 And the vow of a widow and one driven out, everything that she bound on her life, shall stand upon her.
10 And if, in the house of her husband she vowed, or bound a bond on her life with an oath, 11 and her husband hears, and he keeps silent to her—he does not forbid her—then all her vows shall stand, and every bond that she bound on her life shall stand. 12 And if breaking, her husband breaks them on the day of his hearing, all that goes out of her lips for her vows and for the bond of her life shall not stand. Her husband has broken them, and Yahweh will forgive her. 13 Every vow and every oath of a bond to humble a soul, her husband may make it stand, and her husband may break it. 14 And if keeping silent, her husband keeps silent to her from day to day, then he makes stand all her vows or all her bonds that, are on her. He has made them stand because he kept silent to her on the day of his hearing.
15 And if breaking, he breaks them after his hearing, then he shall lift up her iniquity.”
16 These, are the statutes that Yahweh commanded Moses, between a man to his wife, between a father to his daughter in her youth, in the house of her father.
