4 But God is helping me.

The Lord is helping the people who are protecting me so that I stay alive.

5 My enemies want to do harmful things to me,

but God will cause those things to happen to them instead.

Because you faithfully do what you promise,

destroy them so that they do not kill me!

6 I promise that when you rescue me, I will publicly offer a sacrifice to honor you.

I will praise you, Yahweh, for how good you are.

7 I will be able to do this because he rescues me from all my troubles
