0 1 Dauid prayeth against Doeg, 3 reproueth his tongue, 5 complaineth of his necessary conuersation with the wicked.

¶ A song of degrees.

CXX ¶ In my distresse I cried vnto the LORD: and hee heard me. 2 Deliuer my soule, O LORD, from lying lips: and from a deceitfull tongue. 3 [fn][fn]What shall be giuen vnto thee? or what shalbe done vnto thee, thou false tongue? 4 [fn]Sharpe arrowes of the mightie: with coales of iuniper. 5 Woe is me, that I soiourne in Mesech: that I dwell in the tents of Kedar. 6 My soule hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. 7 [fn]I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for warre.
