6:1 The four chariots vision
6 Then I turned and looked up and wow, I saw four chariots coming out from between two bronze mountains. 2 The first chariot was being pulled by red horses, the second by black horses,[ref] 3 the third by white horses, and the fourth by spotted gray horses.[ref]
4 I asked the messenger who had talked with me, “What are those, my master?” 5 “Those are four winds of the heavens that go out from where they were, ahead of the master of the whole world,” he answered.[ref] 6 “The chariot pulled by black horses will go north, the one pulled by white horses will go west, and the one pulled by spotted gray horses will go south.” 7 The strong horses went out and wanted to go and roam over the earth, and he said, “Go and roam over the earth.” and they went to roam over the earth. 8 Then the messenger called out and told me, “Look at the ones that are going out to the north country. They will appease my spirit in the north country.”
