1. Moses’ son by Zipporah, born in Midian during Moses’ exile from Egypt (Ex 2:22; 18:3; 1 Chr 23:15-16).

2. Jonathan’s father. He and his sons were priests to Dan’s tribe. The Danites set up a graven image to worship and appointed Jonathan to be their priest (Jgs 18:30).
