12:38 Yeshua warns about smartly-dressed teachers

(Mat. 23:1-36, Luke 20:45-47)

38 As Yeshua continued teaching, he said, “Watch out for these religious teachers who like to wear fancy robes and be greeted in the square, 39 and have the best seats at meetings and the best places at dinners. 40 These people trick widows out of their properties, but offer long prayers to cover it up. They will be getting a stricter judgement than others.”

38 And in the teaching of _him, he _was _saying:
Be _watching _out of the scribes, the ones wanting to _be _walking in robes, and greetings in the marketplaces, 39 and best _seats in the synagogues, and best _places at the suppers, 40 the ones devouring the houses of _the widows, and praying long for_a_under _pretense.
These will _be _receiving more _excessive judgment.
