4 But the spirit is expressly saying that in later times, some will pull back from their faith, listening instead to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons. 2 After suppressing their own consciences, they’ll become hypocritical liars, 3 telling people not to get married and to keep away from foods that God created for faithful people who know the truth to be able to eat with thankfulness. 4 Every creature made by God is good and nothing should be rejected but rather be received with thanksgiving 5 because it’s made acceptable by God’s declaration and by prayer.
