Zechariah 4

4 And the angel who was speaking with me returned and roused me like a man who is roused from his sleep. 2 And he said to me, “What are you seeing?” And I said, “I have seen, and behold, a lampstand of gold, all of it, and its bowl on its top, and seven lamps on it, seven and seven tubes for the lamps that, are on its top. 3 And two olive trees, are beside it, one on the right of the bowl and one on its left.”

4 And I answered and said to the angel who was speaking with me, saying, “What, are these, my lord?” 5 And the angel who was speaking with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”

6 And he answered and said to me, saying, “This, is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies. 7 Who, are you, great mountain, to the face of Zerubbabel? You will become a plain! And he will bring out the top stone, with shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’

8 And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 9 ‘The hands of Zerubbabel have founded this house, and his hands will complete it.’ And you will know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

10 For who has despised the day of small things? And they will rejoice and will see the stone of tin in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of Yahweh; they are roaming through all of the earth.”

11 And I answered and said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?”

12 And I answered a second time and said to him, “What are the two branches of the olives that are beside the two pipes of gold that are emptying the gold from upon them?” 13 And he said to me, saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”

14 And he said, “These are the two sons of the fresh oil, the ones standing before the Lord of all of the earth.”
