7 This is what he showed me:

Listen, my master stood on a wall holding a plumb-line 8 and he asked me, “Amos, what do you see?”

“A plumb line,” I answered.

“Listen, I’ll drop a plumb-line down to check out my people Yisrael,” my master said. “Never again will I spare them. 9 The hilltop shrines of Yitsak (Isaac) will be destroyed.

≈ Yisrael’s sanctuaries will be ruined,

and I’ll take action against the house of Yaraveam (Jeroboam) with the sword.”

7 thus he_showed_me and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE my_master was_standing on a_wall_of tin and_was_in_hand_of_his tin.

8 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to_me what are_you seeing Oh_ʼĀmōʦ and_I_said tin my_master and_he/it_said HERE_I am_about_to_put tin in_the_midst_of my_people_of_my Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) not I_will_repeat again to_pass_by to_him/it.

9 And_ the_high_places_of _they_will_be_made_desolate of_Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) and_the_sanctuaries_of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) they_will_be_waste and_I_will_arise on the_house_of Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) with_sword.
