2 The _son of _Shallūm the _son of _Tsādōq/(Zadok) the _son of _ʼAḩīţūⱱ.
3 The _son of _ʼAmar^yāh the _son of _ˊAzar^yāh the _son of _Meraioth.
4 The _son of _Zeraḩiah the _son of _Uzzi the _son of _Bukki.
5 The _son of _Abishua the _son of _Fīnəḩāş the _son of _ʼElˊāzār the _son of_ʼAhₐron the_priest/officer the_chief.
6 That ˊEzrāʼ he _came _up from_Bāⱱel and_he [was]_a _scribe skilled in/on/at/with_law of _Mosheh which he _had _given YHWH the _god of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_granted to_him/it the_king for_hand of_YHWH his/its_god on/upon/above_him/it all asked_he.
7 and_went _up from_(the)_sons of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_from the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy and_the_singers and_the_gatekeepers and_the_temple _servants to Yərūshālayim/(Jerusalem) in_year seven of_ʼArtaḩshashtāʼ the_king.
8 And_came Yərūshālayim in/on/at/with_month the_fifth it [was]_the _year the_seventh of _the_king.
9 If/because in/on/at/with_first of _the_month the_first it [was]_the _beginning the_journey from_Bāⱱel and_in/on/at/with_first of _the_month the_fifth he _came to Yərūshālayim for_hand his/its_god the_gracious on/upon/above_him/it.
10 If/because ˊEzrāʼ he _had _directed heart_his to_study DOM the _law of_YHWH and_to_do and_to_teach in/on/at/with_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) decree and_ordinances.
