2 The _son _of Shallūm the _son _of Tsādōq/(Zadok) the _son _of ʼAḩīţūⱱ.
3 The _son _of ʼAmar^yāh the _son _of ˊAzar^yāh the _son _of Mərāyōt.
4 The _son _of Zeraḩiah the _son _of ˊUzziy the _son _of Bukki.
5 The _son _of Abishua the _son _of Pinḩāş the _son _of ʼElˊāzār the _son _of ʼAhₐron the_priest/officer the_chief.
6 That ˊEzrāʼ he _came _up from_Bāⱱel and_he [was]_a _scribe skilled in/on/at/with_law _of Mosheh which he _had _given YHWH the _god _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_granted to_him/it the_king for_hand _of YHWH his/its_god on/upon/above_him/it all _of asked _of_he.
7 and_went _up from_(the)_sons of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_from the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy and_the_singers and_the_gatekeepers and_the_temple _servants to Yərūshelēm/(Jerusalem) in_year seven of_ʼArtaḩshashtāʼ the_king.
8 And_came Yərūshelēm in/on/at/with_month the_fifth it [was]_the _year _of the_seventh of _the_king.
9 If/because in/on/at/with_first of _the_month the_first it [was]_the _beginning _of the_journey from_Bāⱱel and_in/on/at/with_first of _the_month the_fifth he _came to Yərūshelēm for_hand _of his/its_god the_gracious on/upon/above_him/it.
10 If/because ˊEzrāʼ he _had _directed heart _of_his to_study DOM the _law _of YHWH and_to_do and_to_teach in/on/at/with_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) decree and_ordinances.
