7 and _ they _ came_ upfrom _ (the) _ sonsof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ from the _ priests and _ the _ Lēviyyiy and _ the _ singers and _ the _ gatekeepers and _ the _ temple_ servants to Yə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) in _ year seven of _ ʼArtaḩshashtāʼ the _ king .
8 And _ he _ cameYə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) in _ month (the) _ fifth it was _ the_ year_ of(of _ the) _ seventhof _ king .
9 If/because on _ day _ one of _ month (the) _ first it was _ the_ beginning_ ofthe _ going_ upfrom _ Bāⱱel and _ on _ day _ one of _ month (the) _ fifth he _ cameto Yə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) according _ to _ the_ hand_ ofhis/its _ god (the) _ good on/upon/above _ him/it .
10 If/because ˊEzrāʼ he _ had_ directedheart _ of_ his to _ study DOM the _ law_ ofYHWH and _ to _ do _ and _ to _ teach in _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) decree and _ judgement .
11 and _ this is _ (the)_ copy_ ofthe _ letterwhich he _ gavethe _ king ʼArtaḩshashtāʼ to _ ˊEzrāʼ the _ priest/officer the _ scribe the _ scribe_ ofthe _ matters_ ofthe _ commands_ ofYHWH and _ his _ of_ regulations on Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .

15 And _ to _ carry silver and _ gold which Oh/the _ king and _ his _ of_ counsellors they _ have_ offered_ freelyto _ god of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)who is _ in_ Yə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) his _ of_ abode .
16 And _ all/each/any/every the _ silverand _ the _ gold which you _ will_ findin _ all _ ofthe _ province_ ofBāⱱel with the _ freewill_ offering_ ofthe _ peopleand _ the _ priests who _ have_ offered_ freelyfor _ the _ house_ oftheir _ godwhich is _ in_ Yə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) .
17 As _ to because this diligently you _ will_ buywith _ the _ silver this bulls rams lambs and _ their _ grain_ of_ offerings and _ their _ drink_ of_ offerings and _ you _ will_ offerthem on the _ altar of the _ house_ ofyour(pl) _ godwhich is _ in_ Yə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) .
18 And _ whatever that to _ you [fn ] [fn ] and _ to your(pl) _ of_ brothers [fn ] [fn ] it _ is_ goodwith _ the _ rest_ ofthe _ silverand _ the _ gold to _ do according _ to _ the_ will_ ofyour(pl) _ godyou(pl) _ will_ do19 And _ the _ vessels which have _ been_ givento/for _ you(fs) for _ the _ worship_ ofthe _ house_ ofyour _ godmake _ completebefore the _ god_ ofYə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) .
20 And _ the _ rest_ ofthe _ thing[s]_ needed_ ofthe _ house_ ofyour _ godwhich it _ will_ fallto/for _ you(fs) to _ give you _ will_ givefrom the _ house_ ofthe _ treasures_ ofOh/the _ king .
21 And _ from _ me I ʼArtaḩshashtāʼ Oh/the _ king it _ is_ madea _ decreeto _ all/each/any/every the _ treasurers who are _ in_ the _ region_ beyondthe _ river that all _ ofthat he _ will _ ask_ you(pl)_ forˊEzrāʼ the _ priest the _ scribe_ ofthe _ lawof the _ god_ ofthe _ heavens diligently let _ it_ be_ done22 Up _ tosilver talents one _ hundredand _ unto wheat(s) kor _ measures one _ hundredand _ unto wine baths one _ hundredand _ unto baths oil one _ hundredand _ salt which not is _ writing23 All that is _ according_ tothe _ decree_ ofthe _ god_ ofthe _ heavens let _ it_ be_ doneexactly for _ the _ house_ ofthe _ god_ ofthe _ heavens that why will _ it_ beanger on the _ kingdom_ ofOh/the _ king and _ his _ of_ sons .
24 And _ to _ you(pl) we _ are_ making_ knownthat all _ ofthe _ priests and _ the _ Lēviyyiy the _ singers the _ gatekeepers the _ temple_ servants and _ the _ servants_ ofthe _ house_ ofthe _ god this tribute tax and _ toll not is _ authorizedto _ throw on _ them .
25 And _ you Oh _ ˊEzrāʼaccording _ to _ the_ wisdom_ ofyour _ godwhich is _ in_ your _ of_ hand appoint judges and _ judges that they _ will_ bejudging [fn ] to/from _ all/each/any/every the _ people which is _ in_ the _ region_ beyondthe _ river to/from _ all/each/any/every those _ who_ know_ of(of) _ the_ laws_ ofyour _ godand _ _ who not he _ is _ knowingyou(pl) _ will_ instruct26 And _ all who not he _ will_ bedoing the _ law of your _ of_ god and _ the _ decree of Oh/the _ king diligently (the) _ judgement let _ it_ bedone from _ him whether to _ death or to _ banishment [fn ] or to _ confiscation _ ofproperti(es) and _ to _ imprisonment(s) .
27 YHWH be _ blessedthe _ god_ ofour _ ancestors_ of_ of who he _ has_ putlike _ this in _ the _ heart_ ofthe _ king to _ beautify DOM the _ house_ ofYHWH which is _ in_ Yə rūshelēm/(Jerusalem) .
28 And _ towards _ me he _ has_ extendedcovenant _ loyaltyto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ king and _ his _ of_ counsellors and _ to/for _ all the _ officials_ ofthe _ king the _ powerful/mighty(pl) and _ I I _ strengthened_ myselfaccording _ to _ the_ hand_ ofYHWH god _ of_ my on _ me and _ I _ assembled from _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) leaders to _ go _ upwith _ me .
