43 The following day, Yeshua (Jesus; Grk. Yesus) wanted to go to Galil. He found Filippos (Philip) and told him, “Follow me!” 44 Filippos was from the town of Beyt-Tsayda where Andreas and Kefa (Peter; Grk. Petros) lived. 45 Filippos then found Netanel (Nathanael) and told him, “We’ve found the one that Mosheh (Moses) and the prophets wrote about in the Scriptures. He’s Yeshua from Nazaret (Nazareth).”
46 And Netanel said, “Does anything good come from Nazaret?”
So Filippos answered, “Well, come and see for yourself.”
47 Yeshua saw Netanel approaching and said, “Ah, this is an honest Israeli.”
48 But Netanel queried him, “Where do you know me from?”
And Yeshua replied, “Actually I saw you under that fig tree before Filippos had even called you.”
49 Netanel exclaimed, “Great teacher! You are God’s son! You’re the king of Yisrael (Israel)!”
50 Yeshua responded, “So you believe this because I said that I had seen you under the fig tree. You’ll get to see much greater things than that!” 51 And he continued, “Honestly, I’m telling all of you: you’ll be seeing the sky opened up and God’s messengers going up and coming down on me—the son of humanity.”[ref]
Gen 28:12:
12 While he was sleeping, he had a dream, and wow, a stairway was set up on the earth and its top reached to the heavens, and look, God’s messengers were ascending and descending on it.[ref]
