Acts 1:9–11

24:50 Yeshua is lifted up into the sky

(Mark 16:19-20, Acts 1:9-11)

50[ref]Then Yeshua led them out of the city as far as Bethania where he lifted up his arms and blessed them. 51While he was still blessing them, he passed over the top of them and was lifted up into the sky. 52They lay face-down on the ground in worship of him, then got up and feeling very happy, they returned to Yerushalem 53where they went into the temple and praised God about everything.

16:19Yeshua is lifted up to heaven

(Luke 24:50-53, Acts 1:9-11)

19When Yeshua had finished speaking, he was lifted up into heaven and seated in the honoured place[ref] next to God. 20Then his followers went around preaching everywhere, and God worked through them and so they were able to confirm the truth of their preaching by doing miracles.

9[ref]After he’d said that and while they were still looking at him, he was lifted up into the sky until they could no longer see him because of the clouds.

10As they stood there staring into the sky after he’d gone, suddenly two men in white clothes were standing beside them 11and said, “You men from Galilee! Why are you still standing there looking up at the sky? This Yeshua who has been taken up away from you into heaven will come back in the same way that you saw him go up into heaven.”
