6 And_they _said to_Yifəttāḩh come and_be to/for_ourselves as_commander and_fight in/on/at/with_sons of _Ammon.
7 And_he/it _said Yifəttāḩh to_elders of _Giləˊād not you _all did _you _all _hate DOM_me and_drive_me from_house father’s_my and_why have _you _all _come to_me now just_as it _is _distress to_you _all.
8 And_they _said the _elders of _Giləˊād to Yifəttāḩh for_so/thus/hence now we _have _returned to_you and_go with_us and_fight in/on/at/with_sons of _Ammon and_become to/for_ourselves as_head to_all/each/any/every the _inhabitants of _Giləˊād.
9 And_he/it _said Yifəttāḩh to the _elders of _Giləˊād if [are]_bringing _back you _all DOM_me to_fight in/on/at/with_sons of _Ammon and_he/it _gave Yahweh DOM_them to_face/front_me I I _will _become to/for_you _all as_head.
10 And_they _said the _elders of _Giləˊād to Yifəttāḩh Yahweh he _will _be hearing between_us if not as_say_you so we _will _do.
11 And_he/it _went Yifəttāḩh with the _elders of _Giləˊād and_made the_people DOM_him over_them as_head and_as_commander and_he/it _spoke Yifəttāḩh DOM all words_his to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before Yahweh in/on/at/with_Mizpah.
12 and_sent Yifəttāḩh messengers to the _king of _the _people of _Ammon to_say what to/for_me and_have_you (cmp) you _have _come to_me to_fight in/on/at/with_land_my.
13 And_he/it _said the _king of _the _people of _Ammon to the _messengers of _Yifəttāḩh DOM it _took Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM land_my in/on/at/with_came _up_they from_Miʦrayim/Miʦərayim/(Egypt) from_Arnon and_unto the_Jabbok and_unto the_Yarəddēn and_now restore DOM_it in/on/at/with_peace.
14 And_he _repeated again Yifəttāḩh and_sent messengers to the _king of _the _people of _Ammon.
15 And_he/it _said to_him/it thus he _says Yifəttāḩh not it _has _taken Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM the _land of _Mōʼāv and_DOM the _land of _the _people of _Ammon.
16 DOM in/on/at/with_came _up_they from_Miʦərayim and_he/it _went Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_wilderness to [the]_sea of _reed[s] and_came Kadesh_to.
17 And_sent Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) messengers to the _king of _ʼEdōm to_say let _me _pass please in/on/at/with_land_your and_not he _listened the _king of _ʼEdōm and_also to the _king of _Mōʼāv it _sent and_not he _was _willing and_he/it _sat _down//remained//lived Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_Kadesh.
18 And_he/it _went in/on/at/with_wilderness and_went _around DOM the _land of _ʼEdōm and_DOM the _land of _Mōʼāv and_came to_rise _of of _[the]_sun of_land of _Mōʼāv and_camped in/on/at/with_other _side of _[the]_Arnon and_not they _went in/on/at/with_territory of _Mōʼāv DOM [the]_Arnon [was]_the _border of _Mōʼāv.
19 And_sent Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) messengers to Sihon the _king the_Emori the _king of _Heshbon and_he/it _said to_him/it Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) let _us _pass please in/on/at/with_land_your to country_our.
20 And_not he _trusted Sihon DOM Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) to _pass in/on/at/with_territory_his and_gathered Sihon DOM all people_his and_encamped in/on/at/with_Jahaz and_fought with Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
21 And_he/it _gave Yahweh the _god of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM Sihon and_DOM all people_his in/on/at/with_hand of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_defeated_them and_occupied Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) DOM all the _land the_Emori [who _was]_dwelling the_earth/land the_that.
22 And_occupied DOM all the _territory the_Emori from_Arnon and_unto the_Jabbok and_from the_wilderness and_unto the_Yarəddēn.
23 And_now Yahweh the _god of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) he _has _dispossessed DOM the_Emori from_face/in _front _of people_his Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_you(ms) possess_it.
24 Not DOM [that]_which possess_you Chemosh god_your DOM_him will _you _take _possession _of and_DOM all that he _has _dispossessed Yahweh god_our for_face/front_us DOM_it we _will _take _possession _of.
25 And_now to _be _better are _you _good you than_Balak the _son of _Zippor the _king of _Mōʼāv to _quarrel did _he _quarrel with Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) or ever _(wage _war) did _he _wage _war in/on/at/with_them.
26 In/on/at/with_lived Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) in/on/at/with_Heshbon and_in/on/at/with_villages_its and_in/on/at/with_Aroer and_in/on/at/with_villages_its and_on/over_all the_towns which [were]_on the _sides of _[the]_Arnon three hundred(s) year[s] and_why not did _you _all _recover _[them] in/on/at/with_time the_that.
27 And_I not I _have _sinned to/for_you(fs) and_you(ms) [are]_doing to_me evil by_making _war in/on/at/with_me may _he _judge Yahweh the_judge the_day between the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_between the _people of _Ammon.
28 And_not he _listened the _king of _the _people of _Ammon to the _words of _Yifəttāḩh which he _sent to_him/it.
29 and_it _became on Yifəttāḩh the _spirit of _Yahweh and_he/it _passed _through DOM the_Giləˊād and_DOM Mənashsheh and_passed _through DOM Mizpah of _Giləˊād and_from_Mizpah of _Giləˊād he _passed _on the _people of _Ammon.
30 And_made Yifəttāḩh a _vow to/for_YHWH and_said if really _(give) you _will _give DOM the _people of _Ammon in/on/at/with_hand_my.
31 And_it _was the_one _coming _out which it _will _come _out of_doors house_my to_meet_me in/on/at/with_return_I in/on/at/with_peace from_(the)_sons of _Ammon and_it _was to/for_YHWH and_offer_it a _burnt _offering.
32 and_he/it _passed _through Yifəttāḩh to the _people of _Ammon to_fight in/on/at/with_them and_gave_them[fn][fn][fn] Yahweh in_his/its_hand.
33 And_defeated_them from_Aroer and_unto entrance_you[fn][fn] Minnith twenty citi[es] and_unto wwww wwww a _defeat great very and_subdued the _people of _Ammon from_face/in _front _of the _people of _Yisərā^ʼēl/(Israel).
