21:25 The return of the son of humanity

(Mark 13:24-27; Mat. 24:29-31)

25 “There’ll be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars,[ref] and anguish in countries around the world as they’re puzzled by the noise of the sea and surf. 26 People will faint from fear and worry about what’s happening to the planet, because the powers in the universe[fn] will be shaken. 27 Then they’ll see the son of humanity coming down in a cloud with power and great brightness.[ref] 28 But when these things start to happen, stand straight and look upwards, because your new lives of freedom will be about to begin.”

21:26 This could possibly be referring to a shake-up of spiritual powers, but more likely refers to the physical universe from our moon and solar system outwards.

21:25: Isa 13:10; Eze 32:7; Yoel 2:31; Rev 6:12-13.

21:27: Dan 7:13; Rev 1:7.

25 And there _will _be signs in the_sun, and moon, and stars, and anguish of _nations on the earth, with perplexity of_the_sound of_the_sea and surf,

26 people fainting from fear and expectation of _the things coming _over to _the inhabited _world, because/for the powers of _the heavens will _be _being _shaken.

27 And then they _will _be _seeing the son of_ the _Man, coming in a_cloud with power and great glory.

28 But these things beginning to _be _becoming, straighten _up and lift _up the heads of _you _all, because the redemption of _you _all is _nearing.
